“Indrid...can’t say I’ve ever met an Indrid before.” Lucita said as she took Indrid’s hand. Her hand was all long, delicate fingers, but they felt dwarfed in Indrid’s grasp.

Indrid was a large man, he always had been. Finlay, his father, dwarfed in comparison. He often remarked that Indrid’s mother was a very large woman, so Indrid supposed that’s where he got it from. He stood tall, muscular and broad shouldered at six foot seven and a half. His hands were big, calloused from his work at sea, paint stained from his work at the easel. But even with his calloused hands, he could feel how soft and slender Lucita’s hand was, it made him smile. He hadn’t imagined he’d ever get to touch her hand, let alone talk to her, but he wasn’t complaining.
“What brings you out here, Lucita?” He asked, releasing her hand slowly. |

"Just today or every day?" Lucita asked, curious, as she skated on over to the wall between the pier and the drop into the shallows of the waterfront below. She went ahead and leaned on it herself, mirroring Indrid. "Because if you think that every day, I have to wonder why you haven't approached me yet."
