“I hear you loud and clear.” Ezra grinned, taking back the joint and taking another puff before putting it out and setting it back in the pack. He readjusted, rolling onto his side to face Buck, his hand reaching to nestle into his hair. “You ready for more then?” He asked.
A couple of years had passed since Buck and Ezra had started, ahem, seeing each other and though they had never officially "dated", they were certainly a little more than friends, edging on the precipice of lovers though never quite skirting into that territory with finality. They were obviously very fond of each other and spent a good amount of their individual free time with one another, which was no exception today as the twosome were spending their afternoon together at the Maniac household.
Lazlo and Amulius had offered up their services to chaperone an overnight sports trip for Norah's school (a surprising gesture indeed) so Buck was left to his own devices, which meant, as per usual, he was really left to his and Ezra's devices.
It was a rare occasion for them to have either of their families' places to themselves (though it hardly stopped them from fooling around), so it was something to make use of and enjoy. Ezra had spent the night the night before and the twosome had lazed about all morning and idly made plans for the night ahead, most of which included which takeout place to order from and whether or not a trip to the store for condoms and lube was in order. Their day had been briefly interrupted when Nic's brothers, Percy and Arnie, showed up with several boxes of ingredients their mother, a long time associate of Amulius and Claire both as well as the mother of Norah's friend Nic, had put together for some charms and spells for the Latin witchy duo to put together.
Amulius had insisted that they could just put the boxes in his office, but perhaps it was the desire to be good sons, or maybe it was Claire's insistence that they better get to work, that drove the duo to perch at the dining room table with the boxes' contents spilled out on the table for them to put together various magic items.
Buck was still half naked in his boxers with one of his dad's over the top dressing robes. He was sitting at the table, rifling through bundles of dried flowers and piles of crystals, attempting to make a magic bundle of his own.
"Pink carnations are symbols of motherhood, right?" He asked, a strand of lavender tucked idly behind each of his floppy ears. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
Ezra was pretty comfortable at the Maniac house, especially staying with Buck. They weren’t dating, but they were certainly more than friends. But Ezra and Buck had a pretty loose definition of friendship. Buck satiated Ezra’s sexual needs, and also provided good company. While Ezra was incredibly easy going, he got along best with Buck. He’d spent many mornings, sweaty and naked, sprawled out across Bucks mattress, the only difference with the parental figures gone is that he could be sweaty and naked with the bedroom door open.
Ezra was sitting at the dining room table across from Buck, his curly Mohawk tussled; stray curls springing out and into his face. He flipped his curls out of his face and looked over at Buck.
“Depends, what are you trying to make?” Ezra asked.
He was also clad in his boxer briefs, but had a stretched out, cut up tank top covering his torso (well sort of). His sides were mostly exposed, the tank top almost ribbons but that’s goth fashion for you. His own polished fingers were working on their own charm, something a little better out together than Bucks. While magic like Amulius and Connie’s wasn’t exactly his forte, he excelled in most things magic.
"A charm for my mom. She's due any day now, you know?" Buck explained, speaking of course of Bambi who was due to give birth to her first child with Osgar after a handful of years trying. "Boss Man says that she had an especially hard time when she had me, so I wanted to try making her something that might help her out." He shrugged.
Buck was a lot like Lazlo in the way that he was often regarded as tactless, but was typically the most deceptively most thoughtful person in any given situation. He was a brash and rough boy, ever a Maniac, but also softer in ways people easily discredited. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
Ezra smiled softly, looking back at his own hand. “Then yes, you’re on the right track. Pair it with fennel and rosemary and you’ll be in business.” He answered. Ezra was not as thoughtful, often apathetic and sometimes a little mean spirited; he was making charms to sell. Ezra didn’t do very good in school, graduating by the skin of his teeth. But he made good money selling charms in the cafeteria and doing tarot readings, telling desperate girls (and boys) about their romantic destiny.
“Are you gonna be there? For when she delivers?” He asked, glancing back at Buck. The swift movement causing a curl to get caught in one of his earrings, but it happened so often it didn’t alarm him anymore.
“I don’t know, I don’t really want to risk a glance at that whence I came, you know? That’s gotta be scarring for sure.” Buck explained with a chuckle as he reached out to sort out Ezra’s tangled curl and earring. “I’ll be around to help her after though if they decide not to go back to Ireland for whatever reason.” _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
“I didn’t think you cared about that sort of thing,” Ezra laughed and gave a weak shrug. “I assume they might hang back a bit, flying with a newborn is probably stressful.” He added, tying a little ribbon around the first charm he made before setting it on the table and pushing it to the edge to make room for more.
“Nudity isn’t usually an issue, but seeing my mom naked, moreover seeing her bits? I don’t want to lose my appetite, Ezra.” Buck explained with a playful eye roll. “Besides, if I’m hyuking it up with my mom and that baby, how am I supposed to come watch you and Ted graduate? That’s way cooler than some baby.” _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
“You should, even if it’s just so I can go see what a real, genuine high school graduation is like. I didn’t get to graduate and Norah graduates next and if I don’t learn the formalities of it now, I might look stupid later.” Buck nodded. “But also, it’ll be our last chance to live out any kinky teacher and student fantasies.” He added with a grin. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
“You’d look stupid later for a different reason anyways.” Ezra scoffed with a laugh. “Hm what class would you teach? Assuming you’re the teacher.” He asked then, not looking up from what he was doing but grinning to himself still.
“I don’t know, what’s the sexiest subject? English? History? Definitely not math.” Buck laughed, stretching a foot out under the table to playfully nudge at Ezra’s thigh. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
“English? What, are you gonna bend me over a desk and read me Grapes of Wrath?” Ezra asked playfully. “Maybe PE though, sweaty, physically exhausting. We could probably do some stuff in the locker room, or the showers?” He challenged suggestively.
“Ooh, something on those benches? In the showers? Maybe on the wrestling mats?” Buck grinned, still rubbing at Ezra’s thigh. “Though I have a perfectly good bed here.” _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts.
