Wyla slid comfortably into the seat beside Shika and sneakily placed her hand under the table and rested it against Shika's leg.
"So, Grey, Emerson. How long have you two been together?" Wyla asked.

Shika smiled, flushing slightly but brushed her hand under the table before taking it in his.
"Oh not long, a couple months." Grey admitted aloud as well as signed. |

Wyla flushed slightly, but made the effort not to grin like a total idiot as she gave Shika's hand a squeeze.
"That's nice, you guys look cute together." Wyla admitted with a nod.
Emerson's face scrunched up with a grin and signed a little "thank you".

Grey grinned widely, resting her head on Emerson's shoulder briefly. "Thank you," She said before sitting up again. "You guys look pretty cute too, how did you meet?" She asked then.
"Well, we met at the art store." Shika said first.
"Oh, Wyla, are you an artist too?" Grey asked then. |

"Oh, God, no, I'll leave all the arting to Shika." Wyla shook her head with a laugh, flushing at the compliment. "I was looking for a face painter for an event at my daughter's school aaaand Shika fit the bill."

"I'm a checker at a mom and pop shop in town. Thankfully my parents own a few properties around town so I rent from them on the cheap and sometimes I give piano lessons to make ends meet otherwise. But don't let that fool you, I'm only alright at playing. I mostly help people with their reading sheet music and things like that." Wyla admitted with a wave of her hand. "What about you guys? What do you both do?"

Emerson grinned as he read Grey's lips, leaning over then to kiss at her cheek. Wyla smiled and watched the other couple in admiration before looking up at Shika and feeling a little hopeful that they'd get there soon enough. She let out a little sigh and proceeded to gesture to the menus on the table.
"We should think about ordering soon so we can go play some games after, huh?" She suggested with a grin.

Grey was flipping through, gesturing at various appetizers and entree's. "Do you want to share one of these with me?" She signed to Emerson. |

Meanwhile, Wyla oped to look at the menu by looking at Shika's.
"What sounds good to you?" SHe asked, leaning against him.
