Kiona happened to look up as Jacey was laughing and was momentarily stunned. Initially, upon seeing him for the first time he had a rugged but handsome look going for him which was nice. But something about those dimples made Kona weak, and briefly flush.

There's weren't many boys in her age group on the colony. Some were her cousins. This was more or less, her first time sitting with a male who she didn't hate or wasn't related to.

She cleared her throat and focused on her uke. "Probably a local thing, you're one of them." She joked.
