After a not-so-brief jam session and covering up Kiona's broken and battered Bertha, Jacey was shuffling as he watched Kiona put up some things in his shack for storage. He initially had meant to offer the shed to Kiona, but after some brief deliberation and his own fear of what might happen to her given her "alien" and unaccustomed nature to the planet if he left her there, he decided to one-up that.

"So...I stay in a guest house of sorts at my parents...would you feel better if you stayed there with me?" He asked her, trying to be nonchalant as his face burned with embarrassed heat.

Kiona was almost done wrapping up, stuffing some of her valuables in Jacey's shed. She thought the shed was cozy and didn't mind staying in there at all, so she was a little surprised at Jacey's offer but not put off by it.

"Oh...I don't know, I wouldn't want to put you out. I mean, I'm already in your shed. I don't want to overstep." Kiona said, turning to face him, dusting off her hands.

"It's not overstepping, I mean, I don't think it is, but if you're not comfortable, you can stay here." Jacey said, flushing as he thought about how maybe HE was overstepping.

"I don't really have a plan. I mean, leave, obviously. But I don't know, nothing's set in stone. Maybe I'll try to catch the tail end of that festival? I need to port at the next station after this though, make sure Bertha can make it." Kiona explained.
