Kiona barely waited for Jacey to get seated as the engine kicked on and gave a hard jolt as she tried to quickly navigate the controls. Kiona was a 'lunch lady' but mechanics were her passion. Bertha wasn't the first or only thing Kiona figured out, built, tore down or rebuilt. After confidently embracing the controls the skimmer took off. Kiona let out a giddy yell as they whirred away.

Jacey let out a yelp as he was jolted backwards, the only thing from stopping him from falling off being his arm as he wrapped it around Kiona's middle.

Kona caught on quickly, zig zagging on the skimmer and kicking up dust. "If I had one of these I'd ride around all day." Kiona laughed over the sound of the engine.

It was starting to get dark, the sun was setting on the horizon and Kiona could see the milky galaxy above. Drax 6 had a beautiful view.

"Man, I always miss this." She said over her shoulder.

"What? Sunset?" Jacey asked as he looked out towards the horizon. It was nice, he supposed, but then again he felt like maybe he was just taking advantage of it. He got to see the view every night.
