"Pelmeni and blini it is then." Ivan nodded.

Ivan did as he said he would, calling the Nikitin family home and even speaking to Galina herself. She was an older Russian woman who had always had a soft spot for Ivan in particular. When he was little, she would always make sure to go up to his room during dinner time while they all ate and slip a caramel under his pillow for him to enjoy later. So, because she was so fond of Ivan, it took little, or rather no, convincing for her to agree to fulfill Ivan's request of pelmeni and blini.

Canfield showed up a little while later with a few bags from stores where the Nikitin's picked up their usual attire. All the clothes inside still had tags and would undoubtedly be welcomed additions to both Ivan and Fauna's wardrobe. Most of the stores they went to had some sort of stylist who catered to them often enough so the choices of clothing were surely made with them in mind. Not long after that, Galina herself showed up with a bag full of still warm tuppers of food. She gave Ivan's cheek a fond squeeze at the door when he went to pick up the food.

"I made extra to last. Also, you did not say, but I made pirozhki." She said, in broken English.

"Bol'shoye spasibo, Galina." Ivan smiled, earning another cheek squeeze before he returned inside the apartment. "Sveta, we have food and some clothes." He called out.

Fauna had been relaxing in the bathroom, which was much needed. Taking her time and just basking in the hot water after having washed up. Upon hearing Ivan call out, she opened the door after a moment. Steam rolled out and she padded out with a towel wrapped around her, and another around her head for her hair.

“Sorry, did you say everything was here?” She asked for clarification.

"Yeah, Galina brought-oh, sorry." Ivan had turned to face Sveta but promptly turned back around with a little flush. He had seen her naked before, when he found her in the woods, but that was so long ago and that was before he had taken any sort of liking to her. To look at her now, half-dressed was like a sweet sort of taboo.

Fauna pinked somewhat but managed a laugh. She wasn’t particularly shy, and she thought her covering was sufficient. Of course Ivan found her naked, but more than that Fauna just found it had to feel vulnerable around Ivan. The familiarity made it feel normal and fine to be any type of way around him. But it was cute, and endearing, and it made Fauna laugh.

“It’s okay, is there a bag of clothes or?” She asked.

"Don't laugh at me." Ivan clucked his tongue, though he followed it with a soft chuckle of his own. He flapped his hand at the different bags on the floor. "Canfield went out and purchased a few things. There should be a few options. I can go to the house tomorrow and get more of our usual clothes if you want." He slipped a little glance at Sveta.

Fauna approached and reached for a bag, pulling it toward her and picking it up.

“I’ll get changed, I think I left some hot water for you if you want to shower next.” Fauna said.

"I will. You can start eating. Galina brought pirozhkis with the pelmeni and blini." Ivan nodded, waiting for Fauna to go to the bedroom to dress.

Fauna had gotten changed in the bedroom, the pajamas in the bag were similar to ones that Riley wore to bed sometimes. Simple and black, a silky two piece that consisted of long bottoms and tank top. They were a little big on Fauna since she was on the petite side. It’s not what she would normally wear to bed, as she was a little more casual about any of her attire. On a regular night she’d go to bed in an oversized t shirt, but it was just nice to have a change of clothes.

She did as Ivan told her and started eating without him but made sure to leave enough for Ivan when he rejoined her. After eating a late dinner, it was time for bed. Of course Fauna had noted there was only one bed, but it didn’t matter to her as she was already pulling the covers back on what she had already chosen as ‘her side.’

Ivan had been brought a pair of sweats that even looked too expensive for their own good and a simple white shirt to wear to bed. Unlike Sveta, he'd spent his whole life being styled by the same people, so his attire was very much his style.

After sitting down and eating dinner, Ivan set to putting leftovers away, though there wasn't much as he and Sveta made sure to eat their fill. He'd have to send Galina a thank you note and flowers for her kindness. He made sure they were all locked up for the night and began turning off lights before heading to the room.

"Do you need anything else before I make my bed?" He asked, already going over to the other side of the bed to grab a pillow. He didn't want to impose himself on Sveta.

Fauna made a face at him and shook her head at him, reaching to snatch his pillow from his hands.

“You slept on the other side of a door in the woods, your not sleeping on the couch.” She said.

"But you slept inside that hut and from the brief look I got inside, it wasn't much better from where I was sleeping." Ivan chuckled as he reached out to grab the pillow again.

Ivan was unable to hide the flush that instantly rose to his cheeks.

"Sveta, that's nice of you to offer, but I think I should just sleep on the couch." He spluttered a bit. He admittedly thought he might explode if he was that close to Sveta for the whole night. It was one thing to admire her from afar or in a more casual setting, this felt intimate and he hardly thought she appreciated him the same way he appreciated her.

“Why are you being so weird?” Fauna pouted. “Are you mad at me or something?” Fauna had lots of feelings about Ivan, if there was one thing she was certain of, especially after he waited out in the woods with her, was that she loved him. She supposed she’d fallen in love with him a long time ago but she couldn’t really remember when. It felt like this unspoken but obvious thing to her. But with or without love, she did not see a reason they couldn’t sleep in the same bed together.

"What no? I'm not mad or being weird, it's just...well...you know..." Ivan's cheeks continued to stay warm with a flustered flush as he wrestled with telling Sveta why he was acting the way he was or tamping that feeling down because of his own insecurity whether or not those feelings would be reciprocated. He reached up and scrubbed at his arm.

He decided on the former.

"It's just that after everything I'm realizing more and more that I have feelings for you, Sveta. I've had them for awhile now, but it's just increasingly obvious." He explained, looking away a bit bashful, which was uncharacteristic for him. Ivan wasn't loud and confident like his siblings, he was certainly more reserved, but even in his quietness, he wasn't ever really bashful, certainly never pink cheeked and flustered. "I know you've gone through a lot these last few days and I don't want to impose myself on you with my feelings or otherwise. I want to give you whatever space you might need."
