"Oh, well, I'm sorry." Emerson apologized. He'd had a few girlfriends here and there, but nothing ever got too serious due to them unable to carry on passed the whole "deaf" thing for too long. He wasn't totally in the dark when it came to relationships, but he couldn't really get on Grey's level either.

"That's too bad, it's not something that would bother me." Grey said before she felt her phone buzzing in her pocket. She only glanced at it so not to be rude, it was Kisa letting her know she was done with track.

"Surprisingly it bothers a lot of people, but that's okay. I do fine for myself." Emerson gave a smile, his face scrunching up with it.

Emerson nodded vigorously before taking the phone and tapping his number in. He saved it with a very formal looking "Emerson Wallace" title and handed it back over.

"Definitely text me. We can set something up." He grinned.

Before Grey could reply she heard the door chime, upon looking up she was met with Kisa's gaze. She was still in her track get up; a cropped hoodie revealing her midrift. Running shorts and a pair of beat up nikes. Her read hair still clung to her brow with sweat, she must've run over here after practice.

"Are you ready?" She asked, staying near the doorway.

"Oh yeah, sure. Just a sec." Grey nodded at her before looking back to Emerson. "Thanks for hanging out with me, I'll text you." She said with a smile before standing up.
