Just then, Marnie appeared in the doorway, not sure what to expect when Matilda told her a man with a whiteboard is here. She looked surprised, but let her face return to it's resting bitch face before padding into the room to sit beside her husband. Letting out a huff upon flopping on the couch, she looked at Emerson seriously with brows furrowed.

"To what do I owe the pleasure? She signed.

Emerson instantly stiffened under Marnie's sudden appearance and scrutiny.

"Hello, Marnie. I wanted to talk to you and Alister about...things. The baby." Emerson signed back.

Marnie narrowed her eyes at Emerson.

"Fine. Let's talk." She signed.

Emerson bit his lip at Marnie's "glare".

"Grey's having the baby any day now and I know she...she wants for everyone to make amends and to get along again." He paused and looked to Alister, wondering if he should write it out instead of signing. He took up the marker and did just that. "Grey wants everyone to get along."

Marine sat back in her seat, crossing her arms thoughtfully.

Alister looked back and forth between his wife and Emerson nervously, not sure what she would say. Finally, she sat up and leaned in somewhat before signing.

"I'm sorry for my behavior at dinner." Earning a surprised look from her husband.

Ten hours away, Grey was doing just fine. She hadn't been accepting lessons lately so she'd had a lot of down time at home. She'd been nesting quite a bit, cleaning the house and getting everything ready. Her hair was pulled back in a bandanna, her belly hardly contained under her wolverine shirt that was not maternity. Flopping onto the couch with her best pal Irving, she stretched out, throwing her legs across him.

"Hey, are you hungry?" She asked.

"We decided to make it a surprise. I think a boy." Emerson signed back, practically beaming.

"Good lord, woman, do you ever stop?" Irving teased with a heavy sigh. "I could eat though. What do you want? Take out? Or there's that deli across town you guys like?"

Usually Irving didn't necessarily go "out of his way" to be nice to anyone, but he undeniably cared about his brother and his would-be sister-in-law, who was very much pregnant as indicated by her "gargantuan gut" poking out from under her shirt. He reached over and pulled the fabric of her shirt down over her stomach.

"Wherever we go, you can't eat too much, you're already about to burst out of your shirts." He joked.

"Have you thought about any names?" Marnie asked, smiling then.

"I'm a little excited at how baggy my shirts will be from baby stretching them out." Grey grinned, peaking at Irving from behind her giant belly. "Let's order in, I don't feel like walking or ubering. Chinese or Indian?" She asked, grabbing for the menus on the coffee table.

"We like F-O-X for a boy and K-I-T for a girl." Emerson signed, pleased with the name choices he and Grey had narrowed down.

"Probably Chinese. I mean, what if the spices in the Indian food triggered the labor." Irving said, mostly as a joke.
