Mishka didn’t chuckle and definitely didn’t look remotely interested as his uncle spoke. Instead, he looked to Mihai.

Mihai did as asked, passing food along to his brother.
Valentina sort of made a face but didn’t bother to acknowledge Mishka’s cold shoulder. Yet.
“Well you know Mom used goat milk in hers, condensed milk is much better though.” Valentina said, replying to her brother. |
