“Usually I don’t either, but you caught me at a good time.” Owen smiled as he held up his drink for emphasis of “good time”. He nursed his drink a bit before speaking again. “Do you go around flirting with all the guys you meet at these things? Or am I just lucky?”

“I’m from a small town. We don’t have too many parties, at least not ones that don’t get busted by the local sheriff. My mom would have an aneurism if she had to come get me from the police station.” Owen chuckled a bit. “Must be hard making appearances all the time.” He teased.

“It’s alright. Atmosphere could be better, they don’t have that quality liquor I like, buuut the company isn’t bad.” Owen said, smiling a bit, though he quickly and dramatically went serious. “The music was terrible though, that’s why I had to step in.”

“Oh boy, and I do have quite the music collection.” Owen chuckled before scrunching his face playfully and shaking his head at the latter question. “Nah, not really. Mom keeps a bottle of some fancy bourbon she got as a gift at some event she went to forever ago. Between the little tastes me and my siblings have snuck over the years, it’s probably mostly just water now.”
