"Please, that's like saying Mom is with Dad because of his jokes." Sal teased before going to the kitchen, which had a separate little "mud room" where the washer and dryer were set up. "Is JJ at work?" He called out as he began dumping his laundry into the wash. He at least had the decency to separate his colors.

Sal finished getting his laundry started and came out to the kitchen to join his sister. He leaned against the counter beside her and grabbed a plain glazed donut for himself.
"Should I pull the big brother card? Be like, 'how dare you leave my sister home alone while she's carrying your baby'?" Sal asked before taking a bite.

"The apartment is definitely haunted, but I'm doing just fine." Sal shrugged. "I call Neran most days, we talk often, so it's not lonely, but it's been a minute since I saw you and I figured I better get in as much time as possible before you pop and I have to compete with JJ and a baby." He grinned as he lightly bumped his hip against hers. "Anything new with you guys?"

Death Stranding just came out but we’re already looking ahead to the next thing.” Lucinda explained. “I think Arte is supposed to do a sleepover with me because JJ is going out of town for work soon. So you can’t come over flaunting your dirty chones.” Lucinda teased, nudging her brother right back. |
