"Thanks, Bix." She said, giving a little sigh.

"A beautiful cow." Bixley corrected upon hearing the sigh.

Wyla gave a bashful little smile and flush at Shika's comment, meanwhile, Bixley gave a thoughtful sound before conceding.

"I do like blue, you're right, baby." Wyla smiled and nodded before getting her chair situated.

Bixley observed all the colors and proceeded to pick up two different shades of blue.

"What's lightest?" She asked, holding them up.

"That one, Bixy." Wyla said, pointing to one of the tubes, which Bixley then held over to Shika.

Shika finished his first two clients for the day, but the day went on and he painted what felt like one hundred faces. He was happy to have the experience but he was getting tired, things seemed to be slowing down so he opted to put out a, back in 15 sign as to say he was taking a break. Shika felt out of place at a children's gig, not because he didn't like kids; he loved kids. He just had limited interest in petting zoos and red rover. But, he had some interest in a certain mommy he had met recently.

Originally he hadn't thought much of her, she was just a person like anyone else and that is still true. But Shika hadn't had much luck or experience with the opposite sex, while he was plenty friendly he found it hard to be romantic. Flirting became awkward and he would just rather not do it. But watching Grey and Emerson in passing, even though they weren't together (yet), their chemistry motivated him a little bit. So he began to look around, trying to spot Wyla and Bix.

"How come there's no snails in the petting zoo, Momma?" Bixley inquired from her perch beside her mother just outside the fence to the petting zoo. She had her hand extended into the fence, gently squishing the fleece of a baby lamb who was laid down nearby. "Were they all out of snails? Did that face painting man take them all?"

Wyla watched and listened with an amused grin.

"Shika? Mm, I dont' know how much he likes snails. Maybe he did." Wyla nodded.

In truth, when Wyla first crossed paths with Shika, she didn't think much of him simply because she had no real reason to think of him at all other than the face painting candidate, but having spent some time with him, getting to know him a little bit, she had to say she was definitely thinking about him now. He seemed nice and he was certainly handsome, she surmised. Briefly, she wondered if maybe he had a girlfriend. Then again, even if he didn't, Wyla was sure he wouldnt' be interested in her.
