| Shika could see that Wyla was feeling a bit anxious, he did he best to reassure her. "You couldn't. Dresses or PJ's...Whatever you want to wear, we'll go in that. It'll be great." He smiled. |

Wyla couldn't help but smile a bit and proceeded to look down at Bixley, gently nudging at her shoulder.
"We should go get ready then, Bix. We can't keep our date waiting longer." She said.
Bixley blinked and looked up to Wyla, then Shika.
"Date?" She chirped.

"Momma says boys are icky. I can't date icky boys. You're icky." Bixley said firmly, earning a slight scold from Wyla.
"Bixley! Be nice, you don't say that kind of stuff." She tutted before looking up at Shika. "Sorry. If you'll still have us, we'll go get ready real quick and we can head out then."

Wyla smiled and reached down to scoop up Bixley, giving her daughter's round cheek a kiss before heading back upstairs to their room to get changed.
Wyla didn't take much time on herself, which was as per usual. She knew how to get ready fast while trying to maintain a toddler's wrath. Bixley was mostly placated with her horse having been returned, but she resumed a certain level of fussiness as Wyla struggled to put her hair up for her. After a brief "argument", Wyla and Bixley were both ready, decked out to the nines to match Shika, and headed back down to meet him.
Wyla had opted to wear a fancy little, blue cocktail dress with her red hair pinned up and out of her face. Meanwhile, Bixley was wearing a fancy little dress she'd worn at a family member's wedding earlier that year.
"We're ready." Wyla said, trying to maintain her patience as she held Bixley's hand while coming down the stairs as Bixley had INSISTED she walk down herself.

Shika had taken a seat on the sofa while he waited and stood up when they started coming down the stairs. His highschool prom was similar, he had to take his sister because no one liked her enough to go with her and sort of vice versa for Shika. He could recall Kisa coming down the stairs in a floor length gown, he couldn't remember if she did actually look beautiful but he was sure he said so anyways. But just for a dinner with him, Wyla looked beautiful. The color of the dress suited her well, and her hair swept off her neck and away from her face was refreshing.
"My, you guys look amazing." Shika said with a grin. "Especially you, Miss Bixley. I like your dress." He said. |

"I wore it to my auntie Glorie's wedding." Bixley said, patting at the dress with a pleased grin. "Momma picked it."
"Mm, but you make it look beaaautiful, Bix." Wyla commented as they finally reached the final step. She smiled up at Shika. "We had to dress up for you, didn't we?"

| "You didn't have to, but second date we'll keep it casual. We can all wear sweatpants." Shika joked with a chuckle before offering a hand out to Bixley to hold. "Since we're all ready, let's hit the road then." |

"Sweat pants date sounds great." Wyla smiled, taking up Bixley's other hand as they proceeded to head out of the house together. "So, what snazzy restaurant are we going to?" She asked.
