Since having decided to try to have a baby, Riley scheduled an appointment with a doctor; just to make sure everything looked good down there, prime for baby making. Riley had also started staying home a few days out of the week to get used to being at home, which considering her and Mityr had already gotten the jump on baby making, it was incredibly easy to be home. She had been rolling out of bed at ten, eating a fat stack of pancakes and watching television. She had never seen diners, drive-ins and dives before, but it was everything. Especially considering her and Mityr were avid fans of greasy american food, so she even started up a list of places in New York for them to try.

Her appointment was fast approaching, but she wasn't feeling like she would make it. She had been up all night throwing up, the new diner must have betrayed her. It was so unlike her, Riley was rarely sick, even with her previous pregnancies she'd only ever been hit with waves of nausea. Never full on sickness. So she was sure that wasn't it, plus they only just started trying.

Currently, she was scrunched over the toilet, holding back a fistful of her own hair. She glanced up and into the bedroom, she only had a few hours to get it together before her appointment.

Riley had been up sick all night and when morning time came, Mityr had insisted he go out and pick up a few things for her to hopefully get her stomach settled before her appointment. He had just returned to the townhouse, making a face at the sound of Riley's retching in the other room. He approached the bedroom and it's adjoining bathroom, a bag in hand which he promptly set down aomhe could help Riley when he found her stooped over the toilet. He reached out to take her hair for her with one hand before haphazardly unraveling toilet paper to dab at her mouth with the other.

"Riley, should we reschedule your appointment? Or should we get you an appointment for a general check up?" He asked her, fussing over her.

"Maybe both? I think going in for a general is important, you know I never get sick like this. Is this the flu? Is it flu season?" She rambled, somewhat groggy as she took some toilet paper to dab the sweat from her forehead. "Anyways, I can reschedule for later today, get some medicine from our general physician and will hopefully be better to go."

"That sounds like a good idea." Mityr nodded, twisting Riley's hair up with a gentle touch while fumbling for one of her abandoned hair ties on the counter nearby. He tied her hair up for her and gently coaxed her to help her up. "I got you a sprite and some crackers to help settle your stomach, also some flu medicine. Nothing over the counter though, just what they had on the shelf."

"Thank you," She uttered, holding onto him for support as she struggled to her feet. "I'll brush my teeth and have some sprite, let me know what the doctor says please?" She said, bracing against the counter.

"Of course. You just take your time." Mityr placed a kiss at Riley's temple and went into the other room to call Peter first about rescheduling Riley's baby box check up.

The two Russians were friendly enough that once Mityr explained how Riley was feeling, Peter told him to just bring her in as soon as he could get her to his office and that he'd clear his schedule to see her. He explains to Mityrnhe had his suspicions given the symptoms.

Once off the phone, Mityr went to find Riley.

"My love, Peter thinks you should just come in if you can bear it." He called.

Riley had just finished brushing her teeth and mustered the energy to wash her face, help her feel cleaner and more energized after being up all night. She was patting her face dry now and glanced up at Mityr and nodded.

"Let's do it, Ace could drive us in the town car if you wanna call him too?" She offered.
