"My parents and I immigrated here for the same reason many people were coming over at the time. We heard about the opportunities and decided to come over. Unfortunately, my mama passed very early on and my papa...well, things happened with him as well." Mityr bit lightly at his lip, but pressed on, diverting the negativity before it could overwhelm the conversation. "But after I was turned, The Society got me documented and helped me get housing, a job, everything. Why are you here?" He asked, curious.

Riley remembered years of trying to escape Natas, and that they decided as a group going over seas was the only way to shake her (it wasn't). But she decided to say something...Less dark and cryptic.

"I came to be closer to my sister." Riley nodded.

"You have a sister? Older or younger?" Mityr asked, not because he was interested in the sister, per se, but because he wanted to know more about Raphaelle.

"Twins? That's amazing." Mityr gushed. "My parents tried for another child. I had a sister, but she died shortly after being born, but things like that happened often back then, especially where we lived. We lived more secluded." He explained. "Mama and Papa just never tried again."

"I can understand that, it was common way back when in our village too. It was a rural area so there weren't any médecins near us, not that it mattered. I guess medicine didn't really advance until like, the sixties?" Riley said thoughtfully. "How old are you?" She asked then, of course meaning as a werewolf.

"Well, you still look very very appealing, dust or no dust." Mityr chuckled. As they rounded a corner up the street, a well-lit diner came into view. It was much like the very stereotypical diner in the way it was a retro little trailer set up decked out in neon lighted signs. Through the windows, it was apparently nearly empty except for a woman sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee and a waitress cleaning off tables. "It's not fancy, but it is...intimate, I guess. We can talk and eat here. They have pretty amazing steak and eggs." Mityr assured.
