Shika was bone tired.

Ever since he found out he was going to be a Dad and he was still doing work out of state, he had thrown himself into overdrive. He had been the first person in the office and the last to leave on nights he didn't sleep there. Pulling weekends and bringing work home, his company was impressed but he was running on E. The money was nice though, he felt good having so much in savings for his new family, his credit was looking good too. Often he considered moving them into a bigger place, he was buying so much baby stuff they would need a bigger place to store everything.

But he was trying to put everything else out of his mind for a minute, he was visiting Canby since his parents were in town again to originally see Kisa. She had a big track meet that they wanted to support her at, so Shika decided to make time to come down for the weekend and deliver the big news. He was a little nervous, but he had Wyla on his arm and Bixley in tow; they gave him confidence. Although he was positive his Mom would be happy, she loved everything he did but he wasn't sure about his Dad. His Dad didn't believe in art as a career, so he would have doubts about Shika's ability to provide.

A bit of time had passed since Wyla and Shika found out they were expecting, but Wyla was finding out quickly that "a bit of time" this pregnancy wasn't much time at all. Maybe it was the fact Shika was still away, or maybe it was the fact she was still working her butt off and running around with Bixley to get her taken care of, or maybe, just maybe, it was the fact that despite her only being twelve weeks along she was already modestly showing.

She'd so far been able to cover up her belly with loose shirts and dresses, but it was getting harder and harder. She still didn't have the gumption to tell her parents or Shika's, but she knew that eventually they'd have to and she'd much prefer actually telling them versus them figuring out what she was hiding under her shirt.

She fussed with the blouse she'd chosen to wear, wondering if it did her any service, as she, Shika, and Bix made their way up to the house.

"What did you tell them we were coming over for?" SHe asked Shika.

"Dad thinks it's a casual dinner, but I told Mom I have something to tell them." Shika explained, glancing at Wyla fussing with her shirt. "You look good, you can't tell." He tried to comfort her.

"Are you sure? I just feel so fat lately." Wyla said, ceasing with her fussing nonetheless though.

"You're not fat, you're pregnant." Shika corrected quickly. "But, you can't tell. I can't, not in that blouse. You look great; never fat, only beautiful." He insisted, still doing his best to be an attentive and kind boyfriend in spite of how tired he was.

Inside Hana and Yoosung were already relaxing, seated in the dining room. They decided to keep it simple tonight and ordered in, they didn't know what anyone would want so they got a little bit of everything. Pizza, sandwiches, Chinese and Mexican. Yoosung was already had a plate of pizza while he served himself some fried rice with a taquito already in his mouth.

"Yoosung, you look gross and ridiculous. You couldn't wait?" Hana scolded.

"Why, for us to say grace?" He said, rolling his eyes as he sat the taquito on his plate.

"Mm, well, if you sing high praises like that, it must be true." Wyla said, giving a small smile as she reached up to rub the back of Shika's neck. She knew how tired he was and how hard he was working and she was grateful for him. "You're looking sharp yourself." SHe complimented.

"Do I? I feel like a zombie." Shika laughed. "But thank you, work in New York is almost done with. I think I'll try to take a good nap and then be fresh for baby." He said, offering a smile as he rang the doorbell.

"We'll all be glad for you to be home." Wyla admitted with a smile before looking down at Bixley and reaching to fuss with her hair slightly, giving her a last "straightening up" before the door could be answered.

"Hey guys, welcome, welcome!" Hana beamed upon opening the door. She immediately pulled each individual in for a quick hug and peck on the cheek. "Yoosung has everything set up in the dinning room, he already started so please feel free to dig in."

"Oh, I don't know about that." Wyla said with a little laugh and wave of her hand.

"I'm hungry." Bixley spoke over Hana and Wyla then, going in to joing Yoosung.

Hana couldn't help but laugh. "She's something else, isn't she? I miss my babies being that little." She commented.
