It was the following morning after Wyla and Bix's arrival. Shika got everyone up early so they could go see a OBGYN in New York while they were still together. Shika was feeling pretty excited, he paused at every window in time square the displayed baby clothes. It took lots of coaxing to pull him away, but, he didn't want to give anything away yet to Bix before they were sure. Shika had explained that they were just going to take mommy to a doctor to make sure her tummy was okay after being sick recently. Which was sort of true.

He wanted to buy breakfast afterward but pacified Bix with a hot chocolate in the mean time.

"Are you see you don't want anything on the way? They'll want you to pee, did you have enough to drink this morning?" Shika asked Wyla.

"Shika, this isn't my first rodeo." Wyla laughed as she reached up to pat at Shika's cheek with one hand while holding Bixley's hand with her other. "I'm fine, I actually feel pretty good this morning." She admitted.

Though she had been nervous to tell Shika about the pregnancy at first, she was definitely in a better place now that his reaction seemed pleased. There, of course, were minor nerves, but overall, she was pleased as peaches.

"Right, of course. But, if there's anything you need just let me know." Shika nodded before looking up to check the suite numbers on buildings. He pointed at an all glass building, checking the numbers he had written on his wrist before nodding.

"I think that's it right there, and we want the eighth floor." He said, leading the way.

Wyla couldn't help but smile as Shika continued to "fuss".

"Shika, why you keep saying that? Momma's just gots to poop." Bixley said regarding Shika's fussing.
