It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside~ I'm not one of those who can, easily hide,

The little boombox in their motel roomed rattled out a static riddled version of Elton John's Your song, Amulius didn't necessarily like to have a soundtrack for his hookups. But he liked being able to listen to music after, often times he'd rather not converse with his partner and lying in silence was too bizarre. Although if Amulius was being honest, he didn't hate talking to his favorite hookup, Lazlo, post-coitus. He exhaled through he nose contently, stretching and rolling his shoulders before turning over to face him. Lazlo was definitely nice to look at as well as talk to, somehow they got along well in spite of their parents affiliation. And Amulius had to admit, brushes with Lazlo in battle could be exciting and sexy.

Amulius could be considered promiscuous, he liked the concept of spending the night with someone. His family didn't seem to mind him disappearing as long as he did his part, and Amulius knew it would always be too dangerous and complicated to date someone seriously. So, he was satisfied with a midnight romping, even if it was with the enemy. His parent didn't need to know.

He blinked sleepily as he relaxed and adjusted in his new position.

"Do you have to go, or can you stay for the night?" He asked, Amulius didn't normally invite hookups to spend the whole night when he got a room. But he often extended the invitation to Lazlo, even if he was going to busy.

Lazlo had spent a great many night with hookups in his lifetime, in fact, he was the proud father of a bouncing baby boy before his fourteenth birthday. He'd been with men, women, and others all alike. He would be a liar if he said he didn't enjoy a good fuck.

But there was something different about the way he felt whenever he did things with Amulius Navares, something that wasn't the feeling of his pants tightening.

He'd often stammer over his words, his thoughts becoming muddled. His cheeks would become red with heat and his heart would hammer violently in his chest with excited knots tying in his stomach. At first he'd wondered if the wolf witch had cursed him, but as time passed he realized it wasn't a curse but something else just as baffling. He realized, after some time, he'd seen his father act similarly whenever he was around his mother, and he came to the conclusion that maybe, just maybe, he liked Amulius.

Which was why he was wringing his hands anxiously as he laid on his back beside Amulius, sweating nervously and red in the face with a blush.

Amulius made a slight face, becoming more alert whenever Lazlo didn't answer him. He perked up slightly reached out to touch his shoulder.

"Hey, you alright? Please don't have a heart attack." He said then, seeing Lazlo become flush and clammy.

"Fine, fine, fine, I'm fine." Lazlo sputtered, shaking his head as he continued to wring his hands. "Just...thinkin'. Not having heartattack. My heart's fine." He said, though his heart in fact felt like it was going to explode.

Amulius let out a soft 'oh,' before settling back into his place. "Alright, what are you thinking about then?" He asked.

Lazlo continued to fidget and mull over his thoughts, his desire to ask the burning question, before letting out an exhale and rolling onto his side to face Amulius, his face "serious".

"Do you ever go on dates?" He asked.

Amulius was already flushed before Lazlo asked his question, he found Lazlo impossibly handsome, direct eye contact often left him in awe. He cleared his throat, considering a moment what Lazlo had asked him.

"Uh no, I don't even think I've ever been on one." Amulius replied.

"Would you ever want to go on one?" Lazlo asked, sharing a very similar sentiment as Lazlo as he was often taken aback how beautiful the other man was. He was unreal.

"Sure, I mean, I don't have a ton of money. So I don't know how much I'd be able to treat them. Like I definitely couldn't take them to disneyland or anything like that." Amulius explained.

"No, I like you, you know that." Amulius chuckled with a raised brow. Although he missed the hint, it was true. Amulius knew from the beginning Lazlo was non committal and he wanted to respect that. But his answer was sincere, he enjoyed his time with Lazlo enough that he would consent to a date. "I would say yes." He said again to be transparent.

Lazlo's eyebrows shot up and his face undeniably lit up.

"You mean that answer? No take backs?" He asked, sitting up a bit then.

Amulius raised both brows, adorning a half grin as he looked up at Lazlo then.

"Yes, I mean it. Why are being peculiar?" He asked then with a lighthearted chuckled.
