"It won't be a habit, hopefully I'll see you around." Clover smiled, giving a playful and gentlemanly bow before starting to jog up the concrete steps leading into the building. He paused for a moment before looking over his shoulder at her and jogging back down.

"Actually, I most certainly would like to see you around." He said then.

Claire had turned to head back home but paused when she heard Clover approach again. She quirked a brow at him.

"You want to see me again?" She asked.

"Yes, I am. I mean, not like, marriage or anything. Just something casual, we could go for a walk like this if you want or we could do hot dogs and batting cages? I like baseball...Uh but you know, we don't have to do that either.." Clover offered somewhat nervously, sputtering towards the end (He has historically dated people who don't like baseball).

Claire kept her eyes narrowed, but contemplated. Clover didn't seem too terrible beyond snacking on her cat, who seemed more than alright in her arms even after the ordeal.

"I'm off Tuesdays." She said.

It was Tuesday, and about ten til seven when Clover finally arrived outside the bodega. She gave him very specific instruction to wait for her outside, which he did his best to wait and not look out of place. Clover is what you might consider a serial dater, or at least in the past he was. Being on so many first dates, somehow he had no idea what to wear tonight, though he didn't expect his clothes to impress Claire. Since they were hitting the batting cages and getting hot dogs, he opted to stay casual but still felt goofy in his SF Giants baseball tee. He embraced his New York teams happily, but the Giants were his ride or die team.

Hopefully Claire won't think it's dumb.

He stooped down and took a seat on the curb while waiting for Claire to make her appearance, glancing at his phone to see what his sister texted him.

"Knock em dead."

A weird way to wish someone luck, but he'll take it.

Claire, having been out of the dating game for sometime now, had the similar dilemma about not knowing what to wear. She knew Clover wanted to take her to the batting cages, but did that mean dresses were out of the question? What about skirts? How much jewelry was too much? While she fussed away, time slipped by and she hardly even noticed when the time for her and Clover's date to begin had already passed.

Good thing Ricky was downstairs working in the bodega and caught sight of an "absurdly tall, toasty brown" Asian man standing outside. He cocked a brow and gave the man an up and down. If he was the one taking Claire out for a date he was definitely different from her normal type.

He stepped outside of the bodega and gave a whistle at the man.

"Hey, you Clover?" He asked.
