"You know, I could stand to be more acquainted." Biddy nodded with a grin but could see Lane looking around for her in the distance. Her face fell a little, she was having a good time. But if more good times were to be had, she had to make a clean break with Lane. "More acquainted later, I gotta go something first. You gonna be around awhile?" She asked.

Murphey grinned and couldn't help but turn to watch Biddy walking away. He hoped she'd actually come back around.

Biddy went to find Lane before pulling him aside. It may not have been in good taste to breakup with someone at a wedding, but when the timing is right, it's right. Billy was overjoyed at the sight of a distraught Lane rushing away to the men's restroom and his baby sister sort of halfheartedly shrugging as he ran away. She caught her family up to speed, but it was still somehow a very casual ordeal. Whether or not they liked Lane and his family, it was very much a long time coming. On and off after that, Lane sought Biddy out through the night, pleading with her to reconsider. To slip away somewhere quiet so they could talk about everything. After been sent away by Billy numerous times, Biddy decided it was time to hide behind a good boy.

She went and found Murphey again, walking up to him with a grin and new drinks in hand.

"Another, good sir?" She offered a mug out to him.

Murphey had nursed a few drinks while Biddy was gone and was already somewhat "gone". He glanced up and gave her a warm grin at her sudden appearance.

"I'd thought you forgot about me." He admitted.
