Grey couldn't help but laugh.
"Shika doesn't do anything. All he does all day is draw, sometimes he paints or sculpts. He misses meals sometimes and sleeps in until as late as two pm. I'd go on, but it's not fair to judge someone." Grey explained before shrugging. "I guess it's just not a lifestyle I've experienced or witnessed before, so it's hard for me to understand." She added. |

"What do you do?" He asked curiously.

| "I try to focus on school, or I always have. My parents really promote academics. Because of that I've always been sort of ahead of the curve? I'm looking at graduating early." Grey nodded before they crossed the street onto the pier. |

Emerson beamed back and nodded eagerly, going to help Grey lay everything out. There was a nice gentle breeze blowing in the air and while it gently tousled his hair and Grey's vivacious locks, it made havoc of the task of laying down the blanket. Emerson made several noises of giddy "struggle" as the wrestled with the blanket.

Grey couldn't help but laugh as they both struggled with the blanket. Her hair was a tussled mess, curls springing up everywhere as she tried to tuck some of it out of her face. She waved at him to stop for a minute as she got the brilliant idea to use the basket as an anchor for one of the corners.
"Maybe we can use soda cans for the other three corners?" She suggested. |

Emerson nodded, setting the basket down to pull out three cans. He set those by his feet before reaching out and grabbing a corner of the blanket to set the basket on top of it. As soon as that was anchored. He hurriedly helped get every other corner anchored with a little chuckle and grin.

Once finished Grey clapped and gave a thumbs up.
"Let's try these sandwiches." Grey said eagerly before plopping onto her button the blanket. She reached into the basket and reached around for a minute before pulling out the two sandwiches. |
