Navrik could feel his soul leaving his body, or at least his eyes rolling unintentionally. But he was feeling quite exasperated whenever his sister came up, which lately was too often. He attended several PTSD therapy groups, some of which were exclusively supernatural. Most times when he talked about anything about his life, his abuse or the horrors he was subjected to, people were polite and didn't ask questions or approach him about it. But, once in awhile there would be new comers to the group or 'fans' of Natas who wanted to know more.
Also, anytime there was bloodshed and there wasn't an explicit clue as to who did it, Navrik would get called in to examine and decide if it was his sisters 'handy work.' Truthfully he couldn't speak to what she was up to these days, they didn't talk, not directly since he abandoned her. Sometimes she would come to him in his dreams, which could be comforting, but they didn't ever talk about 'work.' Although, there was a sort of 'psychic link' between them that gave him a lasting impression that she was gearing up for something bigger than petty murder.
"So did she ever like, bathe in the blood of virgins?" Some pointy eared, pale eyed elvish person asked Navrik, under his breath of course, at the coffee maker. Group was technically done, most people lingered after to offer support and experiences to each other. Typically Navrik got coffee or water and went home, but today he was popular.
"Fifteen, sixteen hundreds; everyone was doing it, she was hardly a pioneer." Navrik sighed.
The person looked taken aback, uttering something about Navrik being rude, and walked away. With another heavy sigh, Navrik took his disposable cup full of coffee and began the venture home. Looking forward to being by himself, and not being quizzed about his sister. |

Armand had defected from The Society quite some time ago and while he had hoped to have accumulated a steady enough group of followers, he had somehow only made out with a few devout followers (including Thad), which meant he was in the market for fresh faces.
Or at least some fresh power.
He couldn't lie, not even to himself. He knew that while he was more powerful and cunning than the average mortal, he was certainly lacking in some areas. He blamed these shortcomings on the fact he was the product of a gypsy curse laid upon his father. But still, at least he acknowledged his faults and wanted to find a way to bridge himself to success, a bridge he hoped to find in the way of partnership with the dark magic working woman known as Natas Mehtevas.
He'd heard about her quite a bit from working at The Society. He knew enough to know he should be wary of her power, but he still craved at least an inquiry with her. He also knew she had a brother named Navrik, he also knew that Navrik and Mehtevas were not common names, so locating the man, and hopefully his sister, wouldn't be hard enough.
He had tracked Navrik down to some meeting for "PTSD" therapy, or something or other, and he had been waiting for quite some time in a nearby alleyway for his chance to approach. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

Navrik pushed open the doors and padded out onto the pavement. He didn't own and jackets or scarves so he held his hot coffee close to him, grasping it tightly for warmth as he began down the street. |

Armand glanced to the building entrance and watched as Navrik left. He gave a small wolfish grin and slid out of the shadows to make himself known to the other man.

Navrik appeared unmoved, he let out a heavy exhale through his nose.
"What do you want?" He asked. |

"I don't want anything from you, per se, but I am looking for your sister and thought you might know where she might be." Armand said. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

"Why should I tell you? If you're looking for her you must be up to no good." Navrik shrugged. |

"On the contrary, I'm just trying to find her whereabouts before something sinister comes her way." Armand shrugged, keeping it as vague as possible. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

Navrik narrowed his eyes, he didn't like being lied to and normally he wouldn't take a chance on someone who seemed remotely dishonest. However, he also didn't like gambling on lives, especially his sisters.
"I don't know where she is, but I know how you can reach her. You should know it's not a phone number." Navrik warned. |

"Of course it wouldn't be." Armand shrugged again. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

"Things could have changed for her in modern times, but, back in the day this is how you would do it." Navrik began to explain. "Go to the woods, as far in as you can away from civilization. Keep your party small, one or two hands to help you with the tribute; no more, she might kill them too. Tie up the tribute but keep them alive, burn them on a pyre. It should be specified, human always." He finished. |

"Are you telling me I have to go virgin shopping this late in the evening?" Armand made a face. _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

"I think the virgin thing was more of a joke on her part, virginity isn't a requirement." Navrik shrugged. "That's the only way though that I know of, unless she comes looking for you herself." |

"Fair enough." Armand said before giving a curt little bob of his head. "I'll be on my way then. Your sister will surely be grateful to some degree for your assistance." _________________ Butts n' butts n' butts n' butts. |

Navrik gave a curt wave, merely turning and parting ways. He did his small part, but wanted no further involvement. |
