It took little effort, despite what Armand had griped about, to gather a sacrifice to summon Natas Mehtevas. Armand had picked up a street walker and had Thad as well as another man subdue her until they could get to the woodlands where he was to do the summoning.

They set up shop deep in the thicket where no one would find them, surely, and Armand began the ceremony as Navrik had instructed, setting the woman alight while she screamed in agony.

Miles away from the thicket, in the woods still; Natas was in her little hole in the wall 'cottage.' She had many opportunities in her lifetime to live glamorously, she'd lived in castles and mansions, even condos built into mountains. But at her roots, she was still a Steppe warrior, she needed little amenities to survive; the cottage was actually rather lavish compared to her barbaric upbringing.

She was bent over on the floor, carving alchemy circles onto the floor because blood and paint faded away too easily. All this distance away she could somehow smell the burning flesh in the air and hear a woman's scream. A subtle head turn to the open doorway, as if she could look out and see the woman dying. It had been a long time since someone called her this way, maybe early 1900's? These days, if someone REALLY needed to see her, she would come to them. But this intrigued her, almost immediately she pondered if Navrik directed them this way.

Letting out a quiet chuckle, she stood up and transmutating towards the call.

Armand absently paced as he watched the last of the woman's flesh sizzle from her body with the dying fire. He wondered how instantaneous this summoning was supposed to be.

Natas arrived, silently kicking dirt onto the remaining flames. She tucked loose tendrils of hair behind her ear before dusting off her slinky black dress.

"Three men, this is sure to be boring." She said, exhaling through her nose and crossing her arms.

Armand turned quickly at the sudden appearance of the woman and was ever so briefly taken aback. He hadn't known what to expect when it came to the physical appearance of the myth known as Natas. He supposed she was akin to the devil so he almost assumed she'd take on the form of something insidious like the images he recalled from old bible passages. She was supposed to be a witch, a magic worker of sorts, so he also assumed she could look like the way witches were portrayed in films nowadays.

However, upon seeing her, he was almost startled by her humble and modest sort of beauty, edged by something...sinister and startling.

"I hope that you aren't too bored by us to not listen to a proposition." Armand finally spoke as he watched her.

Natas arched a brow and smirked.

"A proposition?" She repeated, she thought to make a snarky inside joke at herself about men and their propositions. As men often come to women, seemingly of both magic or average upbringing, with some type of proposition. But, deciding her days have already been too dull, she decided to take a chance and hear the man out rather than make fun. "Alright, chono, what is it that you're after?" She asked, a chuckle trailing at the end of her sentence.

"I've heard your legends and know how powerful you are. I come asking for your power to help me further my endeavors and my plans for this world and what it's become." Armand explained.

Natas would always get an ego boost when someone mention 'legends' about her, tossing her hair over her shoulder and pondering a moment; she was beginning to feel generous but no quite sold.

"Power can be expensive, and I don't need money." Natas began. She waved her hand over the burnt corpse of the woman who had crumbled from the pyre, causing the corpse to snap almost erect before adjusting to almost a plank position. Natas gathered her skirt in her hands before sitting on the back of the body, which did not give or even wobble under her weight. "What's your plan?" She asked then, flexing her muscle a little in terms of magic.

"I'm sure you've heard of The Society, they've certainly heard of you." Armand said, giving a small, almost confident smile, when Natas didnt' immediately send him away or try and kill him or his correspondents. "I want to turn that establishment on it's head and begin a new supernatural order that I can eventually use to...cleanse, I suppose, what has become of this world."

"Hardly a plan, more like an aspiration. But it's good to have goals." Natas nodded. "So what has the world become then, in your eyes?" She asked.

"Sure, you're not wrong." Natas nodded approvingly. "So, a new world is what you want, I assume if this were a game of chess you would be the king piece?" She asked then.

"I don't know the game of chess well, but I do know that while I want to be the spear's head, I need power on my side to be my force." Armand said.

"Of course, that being decided I suppose then you should need a queen." Natas smiled slowly, drumming up to her offer. "I can push you towards your goals and I support them, but I don't do anything for free."
