They drove for a few hours, unfortunately hitting some traffic leaving the city. But it didn’t feel like a long time, Lua wasn’t bothered at all stuffed in the truck as long as JJ was there. He was earnest and generous, and easy to embarrass which Lua found endearing actually. She was glad she had a good friend like him that she could do this with. Somewhere between town and her house, Lua turned off on an unbeaten path. The road to her house was at least paved with dirt, currently she had turned off into grass. |

“I guess the same things I do at my first favorite place.” Lua replied.
The truck turned down a hill, it wasn’t a steep hill and the grass had grown in thick, it submitted under the truck willfully as Lua rolled over it. She liked walking so she seldom drove the truck, so it was surprising that the old beater handled the terrain so well. The sun was setting and there was already a little nip in the air, a change in temperature obvious from the open window.
She finally put the truck in park and turned it off once settled on some level terrain. |

Once parked, JJ took a good look around before turning back to Lua.
“Alright, aaaaand what do you do at your first favorite spot?” He asked, still not really seeing what they could possibly be doing there.

| “Just be, JJ.” Lua chuckled a little as she reached behind her seat and revealed a duffle bag. Hopping out and walking around the side of the truck she unzipped the bag and pulled out a sleeping bag. She unfurled it and laid it out flat in the truck bed before looking at her friend and pointing to the rolling darkness in the sky above. “What’s something you can do at night?” She asked. |
