| Shika wasn't looking long before spotting the pair by the petting zoo. He could feel himself smiling as he looked at them and started approaching, but he paused in his tracks; unsure what he was even going to say. Was it weird to just pop up, surprise them? But stopped in the middle of foot traffic, he didn't have much time to contemplate it before jogging over and walking up to stand beside Wyla. |

Wyla was so caught up in watching Bixley that she didn't realize Shika had appeared at her side. She gave a startled jolt and a slight yelp when she turned and saw him standing beside her. She laughed then, reaching up to clutch at her chest.
"Jesus, you scared me!" She laughed.

| "Well, it's a little dry, a little crowded. Snails are normally pretty small, so if they were in this petting zoo, they could get stepped on. It isn't safe." Shika explained. |

"But what if a baby got away from it's momma? I run away from Momma all the time?" Bixley shuffled anxiously in her spot.
"Bix, there's no babies in there. All the babies are good babies and listen to their mommas." Wyla tried to assure as well, only earning a fierce headshake again from Bixley.
"I gotta check!" She hollered, running towards the gate.
"Bixley, no!" Wyla scrambled after her daughter, running too late as the latch was flicked open by Bixley's short little fingers and she ran into the petting zoo area, startling several of the animals and sending them running through the exit.

Wyla managed to scoop Bixley up and stepped out of the way as a whole herd of small animals stampeded out of the enclosure.
"The snails! The snails!" Bixley cried.

| Shika fumbled the last minute, falling backward and away from the opening as all the animals flooded out. He couldn't help but feel responsible by extension, it's all because he had to talk about snails. |

After the animals were cut loose, there were screams of panic and surprise from children and parents alike.
"Oh Jesus." Wyla murmured as she watched as people were "assaulted" by the small baby animals.
