Shika was giddy, skipping up to the porch for his and Wyla's second date! This one would be more casual than the first, not that the first one was exactly ballroom elegance. But they agreed to stay in, have a 'family' night if you will. Casual, comfy clothes; maybe a movie with Bix before bed. They just wanted to spend the evening getting to know each other better. He was wearing his usual hoodie, his hair wasn't kept or styled which meant it was hella tussled. But he felt comfortable and confident as he knocked on the door.

Wyla had just finished up bathtime with Bixley and had just rounded up the wild tot and got her into some pajamas. Bixley was definitely excited to see the "drawer man" again, especially since he didn't just find Pompom, he'd also bought her a yummy dinner and whatnot. But while Bixley was excited to see him again, Wyla was just elated. She worried that since their first date was a little turbulent at the beginning, he wouldn't want to see her again, so it was the ultimate relief when they set up things for a second date.

She was sitting on the couch in her pajamas with Bixley perched in her lap. She had just put up the little girl's hair into pigtails when they both heard the knock.

"It's the drawer man!" Bixley chirped as she shot off of Wyla's lap and ran towards the door to answer it. Without a second of hesitation, she popped open the door and beamed up at Shika. "Hiiiiiii! Did you bring treats?" She immediately inquired.

"Bixley, ease up." Wyla laughed as she approached shortly after. She also smiled at Shika. "Come on in first, we can interrogate you once you get comfortable."

Shika smiled widely as he stepped in before patting his messenger bag. "For the record, I do have treats."

"Noted." Wyla chuckled, closing the door as Shika entered. "We have a whole set up in the living room and rented a whole mess of movies to pick from." She gestured to the living room. "Sorry they're all kids movies until she knocks out." She added, watching as Bixley raced off ahead of them.

"That's okay, kids movies are nice sometimes." Shika said, making himself at home by plopping on the couch. He opened his bag and started pulling out treats and laying them on the coffee table.

"I got some popcorn, some snowcaps and sour patch kids; standard movie theater candy. I brought pocky too, I wasn't sure if anyone would like it though." He said before pausing, looking up and smiling at Wyla. "You look great tonight, by the way."

Wyla couldn't help but bashfully flush at the compliment, reaching up to pluck at her hair as she looked away, biting back a grin.

"Thank you. You too." She said.

Bixley clambered up on the couch and stood next to Shika, leaning on him even.

"I like popcorn!" She gasped.

"Great, before we pop it I have something for you. Do you like the movie Frozen?" He asked her, digging in his bag some more.

Bixley and Wyla's eyes both lit up as they both simultaneously murmured gasped "yes"es. Frozen was one of the first movies Wyla took Bixley to and they had both loved it.

Shika chuckled before pulling a small eight by ten canvas from his bag. It was a water color of Anna and Elsa, their castle cascading in pastel colors in the background behind them. The colors were soft, he had even thrown in some subtle glitter and metallics on the snow so make it 'glisten' in the light.

"I thought you might, this is for you." He said, offering it out to Bix.

Bixley gasped and reached for the painting.

"Iss beaaaautiful!" She said.

"Shika, that's so nice!" Wyla added, staring in awe as well.

"Baby what do you say?" Wyla said to Bixley, watching her daughter clutch and hold the canvas.

"Thankieeee!" Bixley chirped.

"You're welcome," Shika grinned. "Now, popcorn and movie?" He said, offering a packet of popcorn.

"Yes! Please!" Bixley leaped off the couch, clutching the painting still and went to grab the stack of DVDs off the bookshelf by the TV. "Momma rented all these!" She picked them up, waving them with a freed hand.

"We can pick one for now, okay, Bix?" Wyla said, reaching for the popcorn. "I'll be right back." She smiled at Shika as she went ot start the popcorn.

Shika muttered an 'okay,' before turning to Bix and the movies. "So what are our choices?" He asked.
