Roxanne agonized for weeks about Jer's detainment. But after Riley had tried to give her some tough love about, Roxanne decided it was time to declare her independence. Roxanne wasn't as smart as Riley, that was for sure, but being friendly was all she needed to network and get the answers she needed.
It took a long time, but she figured out the organization that arrested Jer, was based in America (or one division of it). So she prepared her move to America, which was hard and expensive. Especially when she didn't know American geography or where in America 'The Society' was. She had barely settled into a place but couldn't wait, she stood outside the society doors and took a deep breath. Hopeful her beloved Jer would be in there somewhere, it had been almost a decade. How had he changed? Long blonde locks and a beard perhaps? She hadn't changed much, maybe it would be easy for him to recognize her.
She stepped up the concrete stairs and pushed open the door. |

Joshua , shadow-being and flirt extraordinaire, could always tell when there was a pretty woman in the room, so it was of no surprise that as soon as a buxom little French number let herself into the Society lobby he was on her like fly on stink. With a sly little smirk on his face, he condensed down and shadow shifted across the whole lobby before reappearing before the woman.
"Why hellooooooo nurse." He greeted with a "charming" smile. "What brings you here today, pretty lady?"

Roxanne gasped, startled as she was approached so quickly.
"Oh, hello, um. Does a 'Rundin' person still work here?" Roxanne asked, English had improved (sort of) but her french accent very thick. |
