Shika managed to put little Bix down for a nap before walking out and into his room. It was pretty minimalist, everything was plain and white. He did all his work at the desk down stairs, he often slept on the couch rather than in his bedroom. But he wanted to make it nice since Wyla was coming, he'd put a vase of fresh flowers in the room, along with a picture of her and Bix on the night stand.

Wyla had kicked off her shoes and even changed into a pair of leggings for the sake of comfort. While it wasn't obvious to anyone else, Wyla was sure she was already starting to gain weight and starting to show. She was laying on the bed, looking up when she heard Shika.
