I'm not a werewolf, when I shift I take much longer than you guys to go back and forth. If it was me, the chances of me being human let alone clothed when you arrived, aren't great. I wouldn't have had the time to eat a whole other person before making the call-honestly Jer the science doesn't make sense for me to have done it. Also, provided they live to tell the tale, I have a witness." Navrik explained.

Navrik felt his heart sink a little, he wasn't too stressed out about actually having or not having a witness, but he felt sad for that girl and her family. He truly thought he was in time to save them.

"Poor girl," Navrik uttered before sighing again and cupping his cheek in his hand. "Well I don't know how I could, I don't have any friends so to speak. I mean, Roxanne and Riley sure. I think of Joshua as a friend, I guess the Maniacs but I don't like to...It wasn't Natas, even if it was I'd tell you right away. Not that you'd ever catch her." He went on.

"We're working on it an-" Jer was cut short when Rundin knocked on the door and let himself in.

"Jer, Navrik." Rundin sighed, closing the door behind him. "I heard you brought him in here."

"Oui, well, we found him at the scene." Jer said.

"But he couldn't have done it." Rundin said simply. "You were at a group therapy session, correct? We have it on file we have you assigned to a group downtown."

"That plus the fact that the only blood that was on him was of the two victims and not the third, it suggests that it wasn't him. So take a statement and let the man go, Jeraud." Rundin sighed.

Jer pursed his lips and tried not to look too put out.

Jer took a quick statement as instructed and promptly excused himself before leaving. Rundin took Jer's previous seat.

"I apologize. He's...having some issues on the home front and I've been trying to get him to take some time off, but he won't." Rundin explained with a sigh.

"That's alright, I don't hold it against him." Navrik shrugged. "Would it be possible to see those two, the victims? I know Jer said they might not make it, but I'd like to leave them flowers or something?" He asked.

"I need you to go shower before you go to the hospital. You reek like blood." Rundin nodded before going to get up from his seat. "They're at the hospital downtown. Head over when you're cleaned up, I'll have set things up by then."

Navrik had properly hosed off and changed again before doing exactly what he said. He got a big bouquet of red roses since they were his family sigil at one time, as well as a get well card, which seemed in poor taste since everyone told him they would certainly die. Situating the roses on a table in the room, he did feel peculiar being there and doing something like this, but his feelings were genuine. All the death in his life made him feel empathetic to the dying.
