Natas had found a clinic that accepted walk ins and everything went relatively quickly. She'd gone through the paperwork best of her abilities, peed in a cup before meeting with a doctor. She was sitting in her street clothes on the table, kicking her legs when he came in. The conversation was a little difficult, his English was broken and her Spanish wasn't a direct replacement for Italian. But basically, he had conveyed to her she did not need birth control because she was already pregnant.
Of course Natas didn't believe what she was hearing, she was sure she misunderstood. He showed her the paperwork which didn't help much, so she settled for getting a store bought pregnancy test to confirm.
She was indeed, pregnant.
Pursing her lips, she debated calling Armand on the way home or just waiting until she saw him. She didn't think he would be mad, she wasn't positive he could be mad at her. And yet, she felt like it she would disappoint him by telling him. He seemed very amendment about waiting. |

After meeting up with the aforementioned man about work and landing a few little jobs with him, Armand was content to go home with his daily pay, or rather what was left of it after he picked up food for the house. He hummed an old melody he was sure he had heard Natas hum for their children (or at least Amulius) when they were small as he entered the apartment.
"Natas?" He called out.

| "I'm in here." Natas called back when she heard Armand. There wasn't much to do in the house, Natas normally read when Armand was away but found herself laid up in bed, thinking about pregnancy and how Armand would take it. |

Armand dropped the groceries off in the kitchen and poked his head into the bedroom where he'd heard Natas.
"Did you end up staying home today?" He cocked a brow when he found Natas back in bed.
