"Sure, that works." Seamus said, still pink under his own mask at the idea of touching Cardinal's face.

He'd admittedly had a crush on Cardinal for quite some time. It was something he thought he'd grow out of (like other crushes for instance), but it had hardly even faded. There was just something about how nice and sweet she was and even how soft and cute she looked.

Seamus washed up his hands and grabbed up the face mask, feeling almost intimidated as he proceeded to apply it to his fingers to put on Cardinal's face.

Cardinal sat still so not to mess him up or get any in her hair. She stared at his hands during the application, idly looking up to study the concentration in his face. She considered how handsome he was, tall and sturdy; she wondered how it was that he'd remained single all these years? Cardinal couldn't remember ever seeing him with any girl other than Alby.

Seamus applied a nice smooth layer, trying to perfect it even in small spotty applications. Once he was done, he took his hand back and wiped his fingers on his pant leg.

"My mom and sister have some...um...headband things you can use to keep your hair out of your face." He suggested.

"Can you help me? I'm worried now if I let go of my hair it'll immediately cling to it." Cardinal asked with a chuckle.

Seamus could almost feel his mask cooking to his face with the heat radiating on his cheeks, but he still mustered a headbob and went to dig through one of the bathroom drawers to collect a headband. He found one, probably Alby's, with a bow, and pushed it gently into place.

Cardinal smiled up at Seamus before getting up to admire the mask in the mirror. "Thank you, how long til it dries?" She asked, looking up at him then.

"I donno, Alby said she'd tell me when to wash mine off." Seamus admitted. He noted a bit of excess mask gunk riding close to Cardinal's ear and without thought, he reached out to wipe it away.

Upon contact, Cardinal shivered slightly, goosebumps rising on the back of her neck. She let out a small little, "ah!" but didn't jolt away. "Sorry, tickled." She chuckled then, cupping the back of her neck then. "Well I guess I'll wait for Alby too then, should we check on them?" She asked then, gesturing to the hall for them to exit.

Seamus flushed at the reaction and wiped his finger on his pants again before reaching up to scrub at his neck.

"Y-yeah, Pais should be waking up soon." Seamus sputtered slightly.

Cardinal only smiled, brushing past him briefly to exit back into the living room.

"How's it going guys?" Cardinal asked, poking her head into the kitchen then.

Just as Seamus surmised, Paisley had already awoken and was quietly simpering away as Alby gently rocked her in her arms in a chair she'd asked Leon to drag over from the dining area. Alby looked up with a little grin.

"Miss Paisley Pais must've known her aunt Cardinal was here." She said.

"She must have!" Cardinal hurried over to Alby's side. "Hey baby, auntie is here, how are you?" Cardinal cooed at the baby, crouching to be at her level.

Leon was leaning against the counter now, smiling at Cardinal but grinning diabolically at Seamus once he rounded the corner. He had no idea Seamus had a thing for his good friend Cardinal. But he totally shipped it.

Seamus was grinning at his niece's quiet little whines until he saw Leon's face, making his grin turn sour instantaneously.

What? He mouthed at Leon.

Leon nodded at Cardinal before gesturing to Seamus, then making a heart with his hands.

'Alby told me.' He mouthed then with an eager nod.

Seamus grimaced and flushed all at once and looked towards Alby who was too caught up in flaunting her baby. He huffed and went over to grab at Leon, grabbing him by his arm and pulling him out of the kitchen with him.
