Arte blinked, pausing with somewhat furrowed brows. She wasn't offended, but just confused? Why would he want to get coffee with her?

"Cool. Great, great." Sal said, admittedly just wanting a bit more time with Arte. He'd always admired her in the way that she was pretty, but until now she was so quiet that she felt like nothing more than background noise. Sal wanted to see what had changed.

"This place is a quiet little joint. Sometimes when my dad comes to the city for favors here, I tag along with him and we stop by there and a little gardening center before heading home." Sal explained as he poised to lead the way.

"Oh okay." Arte nodded as she followed along, all the Laughlin kids were tall. Even the girls were gifted with long legs so she kept up with ease, she normally had to strain to fall back to follow Lucinda being that she was so much shorter. "You like to garden?" She asked then.

"Yeah, I really like botany. I got into it a few years back." Sal nodded. "I wanted to open up my own shop, but I need the money first, so...that's kind of why I'm here. I figured I could work and save for awhile then open up my shop." He explained.
