Adrik couldn't help but grin giddily as he was hauled along by one hand, using the other to hold his pants up as they threatened to slide down over the slopes of his hips.

Upon arriving to the room, Adrik wasted no time in grabbing Asha and spinning her around to gather back up in a kiss.

Asha allowed herself to be swept back up in their kiss, her hands to disappear in his dark hair, her kisses now peppering down his jawline. A few more playful nips at his collarbone before she wrapped her arms around his shoulders; pulling him down onto the bed with her.

After it was all said and done, Adrik was sprawled out on his back, his chest rising an falling as he tried to catch his breath through giddily grinning lips. At the start of the evening, he'd hardly thought his night would end up like this, and yet, he'd brought in the New Year in Asha's bed with her.

He glanced over at her, still grinning.

"Happy New Year." He laughed, still out of breath.

Asha herself was out of breath, but smiling contently. She adjusted to be on her side, pausing to kiss Adrik once. “Happy new year.” Before falling into her side, resting her head comfortably on Adrik’s chest.

Adrik grinned and reached up to cradle Asha's head with his hand, fingers sinking into her dark tresses before carefully brushing through.

"You're probably tired of hearing me talk, saying stupid things all night and whatever, but...will you let me take you out in the morning? For breakfast?" He asked her.

It had only been a few weeks of Asha seeing Adrik, but she’d be a liar if she said it wasn’t complete bliss. There were routine meetings for meals, if they missed out on breakfast and lunch together, dinner together was always a given. They’d talk about their days over Chinese food, Asha would listen earnestly about his work politics and exchange he would do the same for Asha regarding her work. Their nights were filled with passionate lovemaking, always coming to a close with cuddling and affectionate kisses and pets. It was a pleasantly foreign feeling to Asha, she didn’t literally sleep with anyone, she’d never fallen asleep to someone raking their fingers through her hair or woken up to sweet kisses and coffee. He really listened to her, and she could tell that he cared and was interested.

Adrik was amazing, he was absolutely perfect. Of course, only to herself, she felt stupid for discounting him in their youth. But she had him now and she had no intention of letting him go. It was an early Monday morning, she had busy day planned; shoots and interviews, there wouldn’t be much time to talk to Adrik until the evening. So she was showering and getting ready for the day, she’d sent Adrik out to grab them coffee in the meantime.

The last few weeks had been an absolute dream, one that Adrik has longed for ever since he was just a boy. The girl he had so long pined for was the very girl who he got to spend all his free time with, eat with, laugh with, and even share a bed with. Ever moment he got to spend with Asha felt more surreal and dreamy than the last.

Adrik had just returned from his coffee run and was perched on the couch, scrolling on his phone and reading through his messages and emails regarding the days work ahead of him. He sipped at his own coffee and idly picked at a fruit bowl he had on the coffee table in front of him as he waited for Asha to join him.

Asha was clean and finished primping, she was putting in some earrings as she emerged from the bedroom.

“I smell coffee, thank you.” Asha sighed, easing into the couch beside Adrik. She gave him a quick peck on his temple before picking up her own coffee. “What’s your day look like?” She asked.

“Mm, you smell nice.” Adrik commented with a fond smile as he tilted his cheek into the peck. “I have a meeting with a man about taking care of a few pesky rats, then some business at the c asino, but other than that I don’t have very much on my plate. You said you had quite the day, right? Will you still be able to make time for dinner? Dessert even?” He asked.

“It’ll be a late dinner, if you’ll wait up for me. If you finish early though you can hang out on set.” She offered, sipping her coffee. “Before we do our thing though I wanted to talk to you.” She added.

“Oh?” Adrik quirked a brow and set his phone down to give Asha his attention. “Hopefully it’s nothing too serious. It’s much too early for serious business.”

“I’d call it serious, or at least as serious as you want to take it.” Asha began, situating herself to face him better. “You said that Sophie wasn’t serious beyond being exclusive.”

“Because I want that, it hasn’t been said yet. But i want to be exclusive, I want to be serious. I want you to be my boyfriend.” Asha said plainly. “If you don’t want those things, tell me now.”
