Asha just kissed him for a moment, running her hands through his hair and caressing his face; allowing herself to remember what it felt like to hold him. It was funny how a month could feel so long, she wondered if this is how her Dad felt when her Mom had to travel for work as well.

“Then don’t.” She sighed after a moment, running her thumb along his cheek.

"I won't." Adrik said, relishing Asha's soft touch before pulling back enough to look up at Asha. He smiled at her, because he always did. It felt a lot like smiling up at the stars, smiling at something so immeasurably beautiful and wonderful. He reached up to cup at her face then, thumbs stroking softly at her cheeks. "I'm glad you came. I don't think I could have managed another minute without you."

Asha closed her eyes then, turning her cheek slightly into his hand before looking back up at him.

“Well now you don’t have to,” She smiled. “Of course I came, I missed you.”

Asha being tender with anyone was mostly unheard of, and Adrik was aware of that from their childhood at least. But it was easy to be soft and affectionate with Adrik. Something about being around him in general felt easy, it felt safe and comforting. That made it impossible for her to not reciprocate with physical touch and longing gazes.

Though Adrik and Asha had long since been exchanging such fondness, those words made Adrik's heart swell in his chest and he gave a giddy chuckle before he stretched again to give Asha another kiss. He followed up by giving her several soft, tender kisses to her lips, cheeks, and forehead before getting up off the floor and climbing on the couch to join her.

"I've missed you so much more." He grinned.

“Tch, prove it.” Asha teased with a playful scoff though she made room to accommodate him on the couch.

"Should I call my sisters so they can tell you how annoying I've been this whole time, constantly talking about you and complaining about how I should be home with you?" Adrik laughed. "Why don't you prove how much you've missed me?"

“Like you’d call your sisters after spending a month with them.” Asha laughed, giving Adrik a playful swat before grabbing his face in her hand. “Do you want me to show you here or in your room?” She asked.

“You’re stupid.” Asha sighed though it was meant to be playful, it always was. She kissed him before rising to her feet and heading down the hall towards the bedroom, pulling her sweater over head and discarding it on the way.

Adrik let out a breathy little chuckle when he saw Asha drop her sweater and he promptly got to his own feet to follow after her, trying to make work of taking off his own suit jacket and shirt underneath.

Asha turned to him in the door way to help with his shirt, though it wasn’t gentle by any means, a hasty tugging that had resulted in the loss of buttons on many of Adriks shirts. But her caresses were light and soft, her kissed tender. Pulling his shirt off and smoothing her hands out and around his shoulders, she pressed herself against him, savoring the feeling of his skin on hers.

“I love you.” She breathed into his neck.

"I love you more." Adrik teased with a little excited huff of breath at Asha's touch. He reached down to tilt her face up to his before placing a hungry kiss at her lips. A few moments of kissing gave way to him leaning down to wrap his arms around her, lifting her up off her feet to carry her to the bed. He set her down onto the mattress and climbed on top of her, giving her several more affectionate and lusty kisses.

Asha snaked her arms around his shoulders, letting out a few breathy moans into the kisses. She could go on forever like this, melting underneath him.

After all was said and done, Adrik had Asha gathered up in his arms, their legs and sheets all a tangled mess. They'd made love like they had years of lovemaking to catch up on, but at the same time it was as if their bodies had never once forgotten one another.

Adrik pressed a few lazy pecks to the top of Asha's head and freed up a hand to smooth some of her hair.

"I guess you might have actually missed me." He teased her.

Asha was slumped against Adrik, breathing contently as she traced her fingers lazily along his collarbone.

“I told you I did.” She let out a breathy chuckle.
