Norah and Ezra had gone down nearly every slide in the water park and had decided to take a little break before getting in line for the next one. Ezra had run off somewhere, probably to cause trouble, while Teddy was making her way back to Amulius and Rocko to check on her baby brother as well as ask for treat money of her own as she saw a snack shack selling nachos.

She was walking by the diving boards when she heard a familiar, yet unfamiliar voice yelling about something. It was familiar because it was definitely Norah, but unfamiliar because she had never heard Norah yell. She craned her head just in time to see little Norah squaring up against some older boys before one of them shoved her down. She felt herself prickle as her chest puffed up and she turned sharply to stomp over.

"Hey!" She shouted just as she came up to the boy who'd shoved Norah down. She reached out and with all the force she could muster, she shoved at him. "Don't touch her!"

The boy stumbled back, surprised but unafraid. Norah was also surprised and unafraid, but also something new. She felt her face burn and a tightness in her chest as Teddy stood over her in her defense.

“You brat!” The boy shouted back, shoving Teddy now.

"I might be a brat, but at least I'm not a bully!" Teddy said as she stumbled, but quickly gained enough footing to shove harshly at the boy again.

“Don’t touch my sister!” A voice yelled, it was Ezra. He came running at the boy who shoved Teddy and Norah, he tackled the boy into the pool, causing a some panic. Adults and lifeguards, and eventually Amulius (with Rocko in tow) came rushing over as Ezra and the boy were in a dunking match in the pool.

Teddy watched her brother wrestle with the other boy for a moment, but knew, with confidence, that Ezra wasn't one to easily be knocked down or trifled with. She turned to Norah and reached down to grab her hand.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" She asked.

“Uh no, I’m okay.” Norah answered, taking Teddy’s hand and allowing herself to be pulled up. “Thanks, you were really cool.” She smiled.

Teddy, much like her mother, liked when her ego was stroked. She smiled back, her chest puffing a bit.

"I'm always really cool." She said.

“Yeah...you are.” Norah admitted, still smiling.

As much as Norah felt ignored by the twins, maybe it was her who wasn’t noticing Teddy. Even as a twin, she always acted confidently and independent from Ezra. She was really cool and brave, maybe Norah could be more like that.

"But you were cool, too. I heard you yelling at him. I'm glad you know how to stick up for yourself, I didn't think you knew how." Teddy nodded.
