Arte smiled and chuckled a little, the light brush of his lips ticking her skin. She turned her head to face him better, looking up at him with her lips parted slightly. It was that sort of look, the one you make when you want to kiss someone. She wanted to kiss him, they’d kissed before. The idea was just as foreign as everything else in dating thus far. But she hoped Sal would appreciate the gesture, leaning forward; her lips lightly catching his.

Sal was pleasantly surprised when Arte's lips pressed flush to his. For all the soft affections they shared, he had always been the one to initiate them. Arte taking the lead in this gesture caught him off guard in the best way. Despite having kissed before, this was definitely more exciting and had his heart joyously leaping against his rib cage for escape.

He moved his hand to cup at Arte's cheek as he returned the kiss, after having moved passed his shock of course, and found himself returning it just a little fiercer than any kiss before.

Arte exhaled through her nose as they kissed. While the kisses they normally shared were nice, this was different. The kisses hungry and the promise of something more exciting. She followed Sal’s gesture, reaching to touch his neck; her fingertips brushing the gentle curls at the end of his hair.

While one hand cupped Arte's face, the other that had been holding the cool pack to her thigh had abandoned it's task and had instead moved to grab at Arte's hip instead. He gave it a squeeze before daring to explore her curves more intimately for the first time. Sal had no problem committing to small touches with Arte, mostly because that was all she seemed to want to allow, so this was bold and he was encouraged by her own boldness to press back with his own.

Arte thought Sal caressing her hip would cause her to stiffen and shrink away. But it didn’t, it felt nice. She sighed and shifted encouragingly, leaning into the touch.

Sal felt a rush of encouragement and relief as Arte leaned into the touch. It was more than promising.

He pulled his mouth from her and began trailing his lips over her chin and down to her neck where he placed several kisses in a downward line going towards her chest. The hand at Arte's hip moved to press flat against the small of her back, fingers trying to find the hem of her soggy shirt to get under.

He had been with plenty of girls before, but this was exhilarating.

The minute Sal’s fingertips made contact with her damp skin, she got goosebumps. As Sal kisses down her chest she let a breathy moan escape, it was quiet but Arte still cupped a free hand over her mouth to prevent another as Sal kissed down her body.

Sal let out a little sigh of his own in response to Arte's moan, which was followed by a breathy chuckle when he noted her hand flying up to cover her mouth.

"You shouldn't do that. You're allowed to like it." He breathed, honest, but trying to be encouraging.

“Okay..” Arte breathed, a little self conscious now. But she believed Sal when he reassured her.

Sal continued with his kissing, lips moving further and further downward until he was bending and eventually sinking to settle onto his knees in front of Arte. His lips trailed over her stomach and he eventually stopped right above the hem of her shorts and he looked up at her, his face flush and heart beating excitedly in his chest. He drew a slow circle on her hip with his thumb, but didn't speak aloud, though his eyes said it all, a question peaking up from under thick, curly black lashes.

Arte shivered, she was breathing hard from all their kissing; cheeks flushed and lips bruised. She didn’t feel sure about what he was about to do, she was inexperienced and was nervous about doing something wrong. But she nodded shakily, heart racing as he looked up at her.

Sal noted the wobble in Arte's nod, the nervousness in her eyes. Jitters, he knew. He reached for her hand and locked his fingers with hers, giving it a squeeze.

"We can stop whenever. If you don't like something, tell me so we can make it better." He assured her.

Sal smiled and promptly went to help Arte out of her soggy clothes.

Sal was hardly a virgin going into his relationship with Arte, but he would be a liar if he said that being intimate with her wasn’t something totally next level.

They had knocked everything off a small counter at one point and Sal had hoisted Arte up onto it so he could, ahem, have leverage. Even now, after they had finished, he still stood in the space between her legs with his body draped over her, arms wrapped around her to hold her close. Dark curls clung to his forehead and cheeks as he softly nuzzled at her shoulder, his face still flush and even a bit damp with sweat.
