"You push me? Sayuri, full offense, but I think we both have seen better days." Sasha let out a breathy chuckle. "You go first, I will manage." He waved her on, throwing a glance over his shoulder to make sure there weren't any immediate pursuers.

Sayuri saved her breath, wanting to quip back but there was no time. She climbed atop the nearby trash bins before reaching up to hoist herself up the drainpipe. There was a little overhead awning that she used as a step and pulled herself up the rest of the drainpipe. She rolled onto the roof and shimmed up to peak over its point. Sayuri could see the streets below, Yaluza shuffling below like ants. From this vantage point, they would not be seen.

Sasha followed after Sayuri, though he struggled a bit between the blood from fussing at his wound making his palm slick and the sharp pain from the wound itself. Still, he managed to haul himself up and once he made it up, he flopped back onto the rooftop and let out an exhale as he reached up to clutch at his shoulder again.

“Are they close?” He asked.

“Just below, but they’ll never look up here.” Sayuri answered without moving from her spot, peeking over the point of the roof. She eventually did look back at Sasha, and slid down the roof tiles to him, her heels making an uncomfortable sound as they dragged against the tile. “Did it go through clean?” She asked him then.

“No, I don’t think so, but I’ve had worse.” Sasha let out a breathy chuckle as he reached up to the wound. He pressed his fingers into the gunshot with a wince, feeling the end of the bullet lodged just below the flesh. “I’ll take it out in a minute, I just need to catch my breath. It’ll heal up fast enough.”

“I can do it,” Sayuri was quick to offer, as she scooted closer. “Take off your jacket it.” She instructed, gathering her hair to one side since she couldn’t put it up. Then she rolled up the sleeves of her jacket for the second time, in preparation to fish out the bullet.

Sasha didn't have it in him to protest in any capacity, he hardly wanted to dig the bullet out himself truthfully. He nodded at Sayuri's offer and shrugged his jacket off of his shoulder and reached up to undo the buttons on his shirt just far enough to expose the bullet wound. It was a far cry from a fatal wound, the bullet hadn't gone far, but it had still torn through enough flesh and muscle to be a painful nuisance. Sasha was fortunate enough to be gifted with the ability to heal quickly, just like his mother, so it was of no surprise to see the wound already trying to tighten his flesh back together underneath the bloody mess.

Sasha let out a little hiss of pain and annoyance again as he leaned back again.

"Be gentle with me, won't you?" He half joked.

Sayuri let out a little chuckle, smiling at him briefly before leaning over him and putting her index finger and thumb into the wound.

“You’d have to pay extra for that, Yankee.” Sayuri joked, fishing out the bullet. She did make an effort to be as gentle as she could, but this was not her first time recovering a bullet from a wound. She’d done it many times for Joe and other Yakuza, even a girl or too who got in trouble with the men at the bar. Something she’d learn from doing it, was it was better to be quick. The more time spent picking at it, trying to be careful, the bullet would slip further into the cavity it made.

Sasha let out a little groan at the sharp, fresh thrum of pain, but his grievances ended there.

"I told you, I'm pretty much made of money." He joked as he looked up at Sayuri.

“Well, expect my invoice in the mail.” Sayuri said, letting out a breathy laugh as she pulled the bullet free form Sasha’s shoulder. She held it up to the light, it was a little thing, oddly dainty between her fingertips. Sayuri dropped the bullet in the pocket of her jacket; Sasha’s jacket.

“Look at that.” She said then, leaning back over him to watch the hole close up once the bullet was removed.

"It's just one of my many talents." Sasha chuckled as he sat up to rearrange himself. He buttoned his shirt back up and tugged his jacket back on before testing his shoulder with a full rotation. The ache was still there, though more of a dull throb and even that would go away shortly.

“Can’t wait to see the other talents.” Sayuri said, peeking back again over the roof tiles to observe the streets.

There were cars now, black vehicles with tinted windows, pulling onto the streets. No doubt on patrol for Sayuri and her stolen mafia boss.

“We may need to camp here for a bit. They’ll thin out after a while, assuming we’re farther, maybe that you’ve retreated to whatever hotel you’re staying at. They’ll probably stop the train too.” Sayuri said, mostly thinking out loud while she plotted their next move.

"Wait, if they think I'm going back to the hotel...I have to call Spider so I can warn them not to go back." Sasha said quickly, slapping his hand to his coat pocket only to find...it empty? He furrowed his brow and looked down before patting his other pocket. "I don't have my phone."
