“No, but making me pay for something I didn’t ask for, sounds like one of those things you’d get a kick out of.” Spider said, releasing a short chuckle. After the bag went into Stasi’s hand, Spider extended his, reaching to carry it for her; wordlessly, like he did most things.

"Hmm, sounds like you don't hold a high opinion of me, Spider." Stasi handed the bag off to Spider with a little grin. "If you're so desperate to pay for something though, why don't you pay for lunch? I'll even let you pick where we go."

“Fine, I’ll pick and I will pay. I hope you don’t expect extravagance, I think you know by now, you’re about to eat a very affordable sandwich and side pasta salad.” Spider said with a pleased chuff. In truth, Spider had laughed more since being in Stasi’s service, than he ever had before. It was impossible not to, she pushed him, teased him, he was always surprised with her.

Spider paused at the drivers window to let him know their next location, then he opened the back passenger seat door for Stasi.

"Of course that's what I expected. I also don't have a very high opinion of you." Stasi teased with a playful smirk as she climbed into the car. As soon as Spider was in the car, she reached over to snatch the bag from Spider before he could even close the door. She took the jewelry boxes out, tossing the bag carelessly aside for a later problem as she placed the boxes onto her lap. She opened up the first one, revealing Spider's bracelet, and instantly made to take it out. "Hurry up and give me your wrist." She gave a little flap of her hand as if that would hurry Spider up.

Spider got in the backseat, fanning Stasi’s hand away just so he could get settled in the vehicle first. Once the door was shut, he offered her his wrist. Spider didn’t pick a place of sentimental value, or even a place he had been before. True to his nature, he googled Chinese nearby that had a four plus rating and reading in a middle price range. This place was literally a hole in the wall, a restaurant so tiny, wedged between two buildings in the alley. It only had two tables, side by side seating with little stools.

"I hope you picked a place without roaches." Stasi teased as she took the bracelet and wrapped it around Spider's wrist and latching it shut. She turned his wrist this way and that, flashing a pleased smile at the piece. "Do you like it? Even if you don't, you can't take it off, alright?"

“I do like it, I picked it out after all.” Spider said with a gentle smirk. “I’ll tell you what, I’ll wear mine as long as you wear yours.” He said then, tapping her wrist where the bracelet rested.

"You have to put mine on." Stasi insisted, grinning back as she thrust the box with her bracelet in Ace's direction.

Spider caught the bag without fumbling, letting out a huff of annoyance but it wasn’t so sincere. He unsheathed the jewelry gift box from the bag, and removed it from the velvet bedding with care. He clasped it around her wrist, careful not to touch his fingers to her skin. He lingered a moment before dropping the chain and pulling away.

“принцесса,” He said then, offering a slight head now, as though awaiting her next royal command.

Stasi raised her arm out from herself as if to get a better look at the bracelet as it dangled from her wrist. A broad grin remained on her face as she took it in. After a moment she went ahead and reached for Spider’s wrist again, raising his arm out like hers. She reached for her phone and snapped a picture of their matching jewelry.

“There, perfect.” She said, clicking away on her phone to send the photo to Spider as well.

“Do you have to take a picture of everything?” Spider asked rhetorically, leaning forward so he could open the door for a Stasi again, arriving at the little Chinese restaurant.

"It's documentation, Spider. You don't want to forget these things." Stasi said with a purse of her lips. She climbed up and out of the car after Spider.

Out the door, they were basically there. Spider ducked his head under a short curtain that hung at the door and pulled a stool out for Stasi before squatting down onto his own. The space was awfully cramped, but Spider made do and didn’t make any fuss as he hunched down to the tiny table. The woman working handed them each a menu, she didn’t speak a word but tapped her fingers on the menu with feeling. She held up her fingers, one, two, three, four-.

Spider looked at the menu and saw each item was numbered and assumed from there. “I think we just tell her the numbers, for what we want.” Spider said to Stasi, looking over the menu. It was one page, small but still with staple items.

After a brief look over the menu once she was seated and proceeded to look up at the woman before pointing to the menu.

“I would like a number one, seven, and eleven.” She said, undoubtedly having worked up quite the appetite during her gymnastics workout. “And tea, lots of tea.” She said, making a tea cup gesture before smiling with all teeth.

“A number 8, tea for me as well.” Spider said after looking at the menu. The woman took their menus away and tucked them under the little counter. She returned just as quickly with a little stone kettle of green tea, and two flat rimmed cups.
