Shika wasn't a terribly romantic person by nature, but more so than his sister and definitely more now that he has someone to be romantic with. He had set up their modest little backyard to be more presentable than before. Shika had been spending time making a garden and growing grass for Bixley to play in if she ever came over with Wyla. He had planted lavender and rosemary by the back patio for smell. He'd set up string lights above the patio and around the trees. Additionally, he'd set up a little table for two with LED candles (because fire hazards) and a bouquet of flowers on the table. It was starting to get chilly, so he tactfully draped old throws (left behind by Grey) over the chairs in case it got too cold without.

He nodded triumphantly at the scene.

"You done good, Shika." He muttered to himself under his breath.

After hanging up the phone, Wyla made her way out to the backdoor, pausing in the doorway to take in the scene that briefly took her breath away.

"Shika...what's all this?" She asked, her face pleasantly lit up.

"Do you like it?" Shika asked, grinning over his shoulder at her. "I wanted to surprise you." He explained simply before gesturing for her to take a seat.

"I love it, it's super sweet." Wyla smiled as she went over to Shika first, stretching to place a kiss at his cheek. "Thank you." She said before going to take her seat.

"Nothing quite as romantic as eating pizza by candle light." Shika chuckled before pulling out his chair to sit beside her.

"Even then." Wyla nodded. In truth, she just didn't want to make it seem like she was forcing Shika into a relationship by saying she just wanted to be "official", or exclusive, or whatever.

Before Shika could open his mouth he was interrupted by a voice.

"Shika, your pizza is here. I went ahead and paid for it." It was Kisa, who emerged with a large pizza box, pushing the door open with her foot before pausing. "Oh, hey." She greeted quietly, nodding at the girl sitting with her brother.

"Thank, Kay." Shika greeted, accepting the pizza from her arms.

Things hadn't been nearly as tense in the house between them, given Shika has more reasons to be happy than upset. But Grey seemed to be healed and doing better with Emerson, he didn't feel bad acknowledging his sister's remorse.

"No problem." Kisa said before extending a hand to the girl. "I'm Shika's sister Kisa, you're...Wyla? Right? His...Girlfriend?" She asked, posing it more as a question than a statement.

Kisa thought of this Wyla person as Shika's girlfriend if and when girls from track inquired about her brother. But she wasn't positive if there was a label on it, if it was that serious etc.

Wyla flushed slightly and gave a little shrug with a chuckle.

"Sort...of?" She said, unsure of how to respond.

Kisa looked to Shika who at first seemed normal but suddenly because flustered. He just sort of assumed they were boyfriend, girlfriend since they were still dating? But he hadn't considered what Wyla thought. Maybe she wasn't sure, she isn't sure. Did she want to be? Shika began to sweat.

Kisa looked panicked herself realizing what she asked.

"Well, enjoy...I'm going out for a runt then..." Kisa said quickly before turning and disappearing again.

Wyla watched Kisa disappear before turning to Shika, eyes widening when she saw him.

"Shika...are you okay?" She asked noting the sweat.

"Uh...Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." Shika nodded, clearing his throat those his brows were slightly furrowed. He thought he would just let the exchange roll off his back and bring it up later, but he didn't do that.

"Actually, are you...-Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He blurt almost immediately.
