Though it was just the beginning of their relationship, Havania was absolutely smitten with Navrik. Not only was he kind and gentle with her, he was also easily the most handsome men she'd ever had the luxury of being acquainted to, which was a lofty belief considering she'd just started working at an actual modeling agency, courtesy of her pack leader, Mityr's, recommendation.

She'd just moved out of Mityr and Riley's apartment, opting to get a place of her own that was a bit closer to work, and was, as a bonus, a bit closer to Navrik's place as well. She still had to take the subway to get to his neighborhood, but at least it was only a few stops versus the several and a taxi cab trip from before.

She was absolutely giddy about date night, which was nothing new. She was always giddy about her date nights with Navrik. She'd left the set of a shoot so quickly that her hair had half tumbled out of its previous topknot and braid situation, but ever the effortless beauty, it still looked good on her.

As soon as the train stopped, she was at the door, peering out the window to try and see Navrik. She lit up when she could see him a little ways down the platform and as soon as the door opened, she rushed out.

"Navrik!" She called, waving a hand eagerly as she started towards him.

“Hey! You look so cute!” Navrik exclaimed as she approached him off the train, arms wide to receive her.

Havania threw herself into Navrik’s arms, burying her face into his chest before peeking up at him with a cheeky grin.

“I just came from a shoot, they did all my makeup and hair.” She said, as if to say it was thanks to the staff.

She gave a little excited wiggle in Navrik’s arms, young and smitten with him, before stretching up to give him a little peck.

“You look as handsome as always.” She commented.

“Average as always, but. I’m glad you think so though.” Navrik smiled earnestly. “So what do you feel like doing tonight?”

“I heard a new rooftop bar opened up near here. Maybe you can wine and dine me?” Havania suggested.

“It’d be my pleasure, lead the way.” Navrik agreed, offering his arm out to him.

Havania beamed as she took Navrik’s arm, huddling in close to him.

“How was your day today?” She asked as they headed out of the station.

“It was good, uneventful but it’s better to save excitement for date night.” Navrik said with a smile as they walked. “How about you? How was work? Tell me everything.”

“I did a shoot for a new perfume line. We shot in a garden and they brought an actual tiger in! Have you ever seen a tiger in person? She was absolutely massive.” Havania said, throwing a hand up for exaggeration. “Other than that, I went with Mityr to some parent-teacher conference for Dre this morning. He’s going to be graduating high school soon, you know? But he doesn’t want to go to college.” She pursed her lips at that. “After all I did to keep him in school.” She joked, sorta.

“When I was a child, academics were for nobles or royalty. But I guess it’s different now, anyone can go to school but not everyone has to. It’s interesting how that happened.” Navrik rambled thoughtfully before returning to the subject of the tiger. “That’s neat though. Do you always work with wild animals? We’re afraid?” He asked.

“Mm, it’s very important to go now. Or so they say. I didn’t even get to graduate high school, so I always hoped my brothers would, so I guess I should just be grateful.” Havania sighed before letting out a little hum and shaking her head. “This was the first time. Mostly I just get to dress in nice things and get my makeup done. It was a little scary, but she was one of those entertainment animals. She was well behaved.”

They came up on a building that had signage that indicated to the new rooftop bar atop their sister bar. There was a bit of a line, but Havania didn’t mind waiting as long as she was with Navrik. She gestured for them to get in line before promptly placing her back to Navrik and taking his arms to wrap around her shoulders and huddling in against him.

“Do you go out to bars often? Or are you just humoring me?” Havania asked, craning her head back to look at Navrik. She gave a little cock of her head. “Do you even drink?”

Navrik wrapped his arms around her and gently dropped down for his chin to rest atop her head.

“I don’t, but I think apart of it is I don’t think to go? I don’t really drink these days but I don’t NOT drink? I certainly haven’t been drunk in...Jeez, maybe since I’ve been back from Vietnam?” He thought aloud, implying he served in the Vietnam war.

It was still a bit jarring to Havania that she was seeing an “older man”, so statements like that were something she was still getting used to. She blinked and tilted her head to look up at Navrik.

“That long?” She asked.

“Yeah, I think so. We used to drink all the time back in my Hun days, but alcohol wasn’t super good then.” Navrik explained.

“It hasn’t changed much, it’s still not very good.” Havania joked as they bumped up in the line. The bouncer gave her an up and down, clearly pleased with what she was bringing to the table, but gave a slight scowl when he saw Navrik draped over her. Nonetheless, he let them both in.
