Ava giggled, again uncharacteristically, as Han swept her up in his arms. She embraced him, dropping her bag and wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

Han grinned widely. Though he still felt like his whole life had been upended and changing drastically, it didn't feel like a bad thing at all.
"I think it does too." He agreed. "When did you find out? Just now? Have you told your folks?" He asked then.

A record scratch could be heard somewhere in the world. Ava finally felt her stomach drop, and she instantly felt uneasy.
“Eh no, you’re the first to know. I haven’t even thought about tell them yet, to be honest.” Ava admitted.
Her dad was going to kill Han, or at least try. |

“Oh, well, we should tell them sooner than later, right? Or should we go to a doctor first?” Han suggested, completely oblivious regarding his impending doom. As far as he was concerned, Ava’s parents liked him well enough, so why should he be too concerned?

Ava sort of laughed, a little surprised he would even ask.
“Yeah, most definitely.” She said. “I mean my parents like you enough, but I haven’t even graduated yet. They’ll have a longer list of reasons to be upset.” She explained. |

"You can still finish though. I can watch the baby when you're doing schoolwork. Yoo In and Il Soon could babysit too." Han shrugged. "You won't have to work either so you won't have to worry about that. I'll get another job, maybe the Samchon knows about openings at his night job. I'll take care of us."

“I know that, but it my parents you’ll have to convince.” Ava began. “I can work though, I can pull my weight too. But I know you’ll make sure we’re good.” She added with a nod.
She truly believed without a doubt there was anything to worry about, but Ava wasn’t much for worrying. She already considered everything in a matter of fact kind of way the minute the pregnancy test came back positive. |

"You don't need to worry about pulling your weight right now." Han said firmly with a click of his tongue. "You need to focus on staying healthy and finishing school. What will your parents think of me if I can't even make sure you can do that?" He 'pinched' her cheek with his thumb and index finger.
