“It is what it is, I guess I should be more grateful.” Priya shrugged weakly. She hadn’t full processed the trauma of what had happened, she wanted justice first. “That man in the park had been spouting crap for weeks, I can hear him all the way to camp. The Society won’t do anything about him or any pro human rally’s for that matter.” She explained.

"That doesn't surprise me in the least." Il Soon nodded in agreement. While he didn't outright "hate" the Society, he did feel, like many others, that they were incompetent in more ways than they were helpful.

"Oh, uh, no. I actually had just gotten off of work, but who knows if my twin or our friend Van were there. I know they were doing faction work today." Il Soon explained with a little shrug. "This apartment isn't too far from the park so I just sort of happened upon it."

As useless as the Society is, they’re even more useless at convicting anyone of anything.” Il Soon nodded as he stopped his cleaning only so he could start bandaging the wound. “Even then, the faction has lawyers, good ones even. If push came to shove, we could handle a court case or two.”
