"It's okay," Shika said, laughter trailing off as his face flushed. He tried to help them both up by trying to sit up but only made it 'worse,' in terms of putting their faces inches apart.

Wyla blinked, a flush warming up her cheeks when she saw how close their faces were.

Shika didn't answer and swallowed the lump in his throat. "Wyla, can I ask you a question?" He asked, unmoving.

This wasn't his first kiss, thank god for that, he was still nervous though. Reaching up to cup her face gently, he leaned in slowly and closed his eyes before pressing his lips against hers.

Wyla by no means was new to the kissing game, but there was something about the way Shika kissed her, or maybe it was just something about Shika himself. It felt different, it felt new yet comfortable. It felt nice. Wyla had closed her own eyes and settled into the kissing, gently moving her lips against Shika's.

They stayed that way for a little bit, he made sure to be soft and tender. Occasionally his hand would move from her cheek to the back of her neck. By the end of it as he was pulling away he brushed some of her hair from her face before resting his forehead against hers and opening his eyes again.

Wyla opened her eyes, a bit breathless herself, and gave a small smile when she found herself eye-to-eye, forehead nestled against forehead, with Shika.

"Shika...that was...wow." She giggled pleasantly.
