"Yeah...I mean, I guess." JJ said, his smile faltering only slightly when he thought to himself not alright enough for her. The thought of Lua rejecting him and choosing Mishka Dalca over him was still a fresh wound and though there were times he was able to forget it's presence, those times were fleeting.

Little got by Lucinda, it was only a matter of if she cared or not. Which as she was bonding with JJ, she did care.

JJ let out an "amused" chuckle, which was more like a little breath, before he tilted the ramune bottle to watch the marble swirl lazily where it was trapped in the glass.

"Just...lost something...someone important to me. Not like...lost lost. She's still alive, but...I don't know. Not with me." JJ admitted.

"You'll find someone better if you want to, you're already doing better than your sister who is probably doomed to be tragically single forever." She added, opening another box of pocky before offering them out to JJ. They were the matcha flavored ones of course.
