Biddy finished cleaning up the mess before getting changed herself, raking out her bed head to the best of her ability with her fingers. She opted to not offer breakfast again, she was sure after Lanes dramatic entrance/exit, Murphey couldn't wait to leave which was just as well. What one night stand wants to stick around for coffee and biscuits?

Murphey dressed, frowning when he couldn't find his tie but opted not to dwell on it too much. He glanced over at Biddy and watched her rake her fingers through her hair. Did it always feel so awkward after a one night stand?

"Um, can I get a raincheck on that coffee?" He asked.

So who knew birth control only worked in long term relationships and not one night stands? It's not a fact but it was a reality for Biddy, her wedding night fling with an Irish import had trapped her with a surprise lump of cells. Weirdly, her Mom was over the moon and had been coaching her through everything in the past twelve weeks. The doctor had said that it was typical for babies conceived while the mother was on birth control to not make it beyond the first trimester. So, she waited it out, and low and behold, little lad or lass had a strong heart beat. Quinn insisted she could get Murphey's number through his grandparents but a international phonecall felt impersonal to Biddy, but also showing up in America seemed psychotic.

And yet, here she was, not even beginning to know where to look or even where to start? She had gotten in late last night and tried her best to sleep in spite of her anxiety and got a full forty minutes. So, somehow already feeling somewhat defeated she relied on the one thing that could cheer her up.

Breakfast.

She found an IHop near her motel and treated herself to a big breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, eggs; the works. She was eating for two after all. Before she came and was weighing her options on how to tell him, she did find him on social media and added him as a friend but hadn't said anything yet. While cleaning her second plate of pancakes, she had the messenger open, trying to compose a message that felt casual.

"Hey! I'm local for a few days, your raincheck is still good, coffee?"

She made a face at her phone, feeling incredibly dumb.

"I should just go home..." She uttered to herself. This whole thing was insane.
