Emerson lived a little farther away than Grey was willing to walk, so she decided to get an uber there. She was pretty excited that she was invited to a family movie night at Emerson's house, and she was really excited to meet his family; especially his brother Irving whom he spoke fondly of. Once again, Kisa bailed as she was invited too. Grey was excited about her being invited just because she wanted her new friend and girlfriend to get to know each other but that seemed moot.

But that didn't stop Grey from loading up and heading over. Her hair was the same as always, wild and curly, just the way she liked it. Following her trend of childish tee shirts, today she was wearing a power rangers tee shirt with a pair of plain ol' blue jeans and her converse. She found it hard to dress up when meeting new people because she liked to present herself how she normally was; which was dressed down.

After pulling up to the destination Grey got out and bounded up towards the door and knocking. Too excited to take in her new surroundings yet.

Inside the house, there was a silent argument going on between Emerson and his younger brother Irving. Emerson had invited his brother over to meet his new friend in the fashion of a movie and dinner night, which was casual enough, but despite being casual, Emerson had begun fussing over what movie to watch, what he should be cooking, and even if he wouldn't admit it...what he would wear.

"I don't think she really CARES if you want to watch Drive or Saint Vincent, they're both terrible movies." Irving signed at his distressed brother.

Emerson firmly shook his head, signing back so fast that even Irving only caught parts of it, which were "shut up", "you're wrong", "Bill Murray is great".

"I think she just wants to hang out, I don't think the movie choice is so critical." Irving protested, stopping when he heard the door. He sighed and gestured to the door and went to go answer it.

Irving, while only a few years younger, looked signifigantly his brother's junior. He was a few inches shorter than his older brother, and much more slight. His face was soft, like their mother's, and his face was speckled with freckles that were almost as distracting as his bright blue eyes.

He opened up the door and noted the redhead standing there.

"Hello, are you Grey?" He asked, standing in the doorway.

"Hi, I am. Are you Irving?" She asked, offering her hand out with a polite smile.

"Yeah, I am. It's great to meet you, he won't shut up about you." Irving gave a little quirk of a smile and shook Grey's hand. "He's very conflicted by your visit."

"Oh no, it's my first time here and already I've created trouble?" Grey asked with a laugh.

"He's very distressed, to be honest, I think he was even fussing about what PANTS to wear." Irving half-joked.

"Because of me? Oh I don't think I have a preference so long as he wears pants at all." Grey chuckled with a shrug.

"We can agree on that." Iriving said before stepping aside to let Grey in. "C'mon in before he loses though, huh?" He teased.

Grey uttered a thank you before stepping into the home. She walked a few paces before poking her head around the corner and discovering Emerson in the living room. Walking up to him, she waited until after tapping him on the shoulder to greet him.

"Hi Emerson." She signed rather proudly, even remembering his sign name.

Emerson went to sign back without much thought before realizing Grey had SIGNED to him. His entire face lit up.

"You're signing!" He beamed.

Grey smiled and laughed giddily at their mutual excitement. She paused then before taking her time to sign the next part she practiced specifically for instances like this.

"I'm still learning, and only know a little bit." Her signing was a little slopping, but readable still.

"You're doing good, better than Irving even." Emerson grinned.

"Hey, I saw that!" Irving signed and shouted after having waved to get his brother's attention.

Grey laughed, opting not to argue since it was a joke anyways. Obviously Irving had been doing it for years and Grey started practicing the other day after their picnic. She turned her attention to the movies he was looking at.

"Did you decide on a movie?" Grey asked.

"Saint Vincent or Drive?" Emerson asked, holding up the two cases.

Grey tapped Drive.

"This one, Saint Vincent was too sad for me at parts." Grey admitted.
