“No flying, I wish though. The sidewalks here are so crowded.” Bernadette said.

“It’s the city that never sleeps.” Asha shrugged. “You’ll get used to it.”

“The Princes Island.” Bernadette answered. “It’s only really busy during the summer.” Bernadette said, watching Asha take her plate and begin to serve her.

“That’s right.” Bernadette nodded before accepting her plate from Asha. “There’s lots of old churches and museums, but that’s mostly it.”

"Oh, so what did you do for fun when you were growing up? Do you have any hobbies that you still like to do?" Adrik asked. When he noticed Viktor was too busy looking at Bernadette grinning like a fool, he stretched for his plate and began filling it for him.

“Hm, people watch? See all the tourists come onto the pier, I guess that sounds weird, huh?” Bernadette chuckled sheepishly. “When the weather was nice I just like to watch the sky, how you call it? Star gazing?” Bernadette nodded.

Asha noticed too, grinning at her husband when she saw he noticed too.

"I see. Well, stargazing is a little hard in the city, but Viktor's grandparents live out in the boonies where you can see just about every single constellation. Isn't that right, Viktor?" Adrik asked as he placed the plate in front of his youngest.

"Yes! It's amazing! Also, it gets dark enough out there that sometimes Auntie Lucinda even sets out a projector to play on the side of the house. Sometimes we go out there with all the cousins and we watch everyone's favorite movies." Viktor nodded vigorously. "You should come with us, Bernadette! It's so much fun."

“Oh could I? That sounds like so much fun!” Bernadette exclaimed. “What are your guys favorite movie to watch?” She asked.

“Sasha likes Indiana Jones, Mila’s favorite is Top Gun, and I like Zorro.” Viktor lit up. “Have you seen it? Zorro? It’s about a masked vigilante, but he’s like... for the people!”

“I remember when he was little and he’d just want to watch it over and over and over again.” Adrik chuckled as he picked up a forkful of food.

“I did, and I still do sometimes. Bernadette, what’s your favorite movie?” Viktor asked.

“Oh is he like Batman?” Bernadette asked with a curious tilt of her head. “Hm, I didn’t have a tv at my house growing up. But I have one now! I watched Finding Nemo for the first time and I really liked that!” Bernadette nodded.

“That’s fine with me, do you need to check with your parents Bernadette?” Asha asked.

“Uh no, ma’am.” Bernadette shook her head. “That sounds like fun though, what should we watch first?” She asked, looking to Viktor eagerly.

“If you like Finding Nemo, we could watch Up? Or Toy Story? They’re both kind of like Finding Nemo.” Viktor said. “Mama, do we still have ice cream? And chocolate sauce? For the movie?”

“I’ll watch whatever you wanna watch. Maybe we can do a movie night once a week, you can show me a new movie you think I’d like every week.” Bernadette suggested.
