"Definitely, mostly." Armand nodded. "At least I was very happy, always, with you. I cannot speak wholly on how you felt, but you seemed happy." He explained, finishing his plate. He got up to take it to the kitchenette for a wash. "I spent my time trying to make our lives together happy, I'll spend my time doing that now."

"Well, I don't know about me then," Natas began, collecting her own dishes and bringing them to the sink, offering to dry as Armand washed. "I'm happy now, you're a good , man, Armand." She said with certainty.

"I'll always try to be a good man for you." Armand said, which was true enough before and now. Just before the idea of Natas's "good man" was different, he supposed. As he washed, he offered the plates to Natas one after the other to dry before nodding towards the little trunk they had at the foot of their bed which held their clothes. "Get ready for the day, hmm? We'll go into town and we can go to the beach. I need to find somewhere to get fishing supplies anyway."

Natas nodded before opening the trunk to get changed. She didn't dress the same as before, old Natas was very sultry; slinky and snug fitting dresses. The back could be open, a cut out in the bust, most often there were slits cut in the sides. Now, she dressed, mostly like a frumpy mom. Her clothes were often too big, and kind of dull in comparison. But, it was a nice day and they were going to the beach. So Natas pulled out the one nice, fitting garb she owned which was a white sundress. She pulled it on with ease, brushing off the skirt and giving a slow twirl, she was almost content with it. Often Natas felt exposed in dresses or short sleeves, so she rummaged through the trunk for a colorful shawl to drape around herself.

"Ready!" She chirped, jogging over to the door to grab her little white canvas shoes.

Armand was more or less surprised by Natas's choice of clothing lately, though he wasn't about to make it his personal mission to force her into her old clothes. He thought it was safe to say that that would have been too much for Natas as she was now.

Besides, this was nice too.

Natas stepped outside, sort of skipping almost as she admired the outside. She had to admit, she was very happy with were they lived, it was beautiful.

It was still strange to Armand to see Natas act so...innocent, but, as always, he only smiled and went along with it. He followed Natas out of their little home, not bothering to lock up as they didn't hvae much to steal anyways.

"Do you want to go look for books or do you want to do something else? There's an open air market in the square today. We can go look around there." Armand suggested, feeling almost strange for asking such domestic questions.

"Sounds good to me." Armand said. "We didn't get to go out like this very much before. Not together at least." He admitted.

"I know you said we were busy, how busy were we then?" Natas asked, looking over at him as they walked. "I feel like couples should make a little time for each other, at least once a week, right?"

"We made time for each other, a lot of time actually, but we mostly spent our free time at home with one another." Armand explained.

"How come we didn't go out?" She asked. "Not in the sense I would expect to go out all the time, but once in awhile is nice."

"We just didn't." Armand shrugged before giving a chuckle. "But if you want me to take you out now, I'll do so. Whenever."

Armand shook his head.

"I wouldn't mind at all. I just want to take care of you and do what makes you happy." He said, surely.
