Grey wasn't responsive. Still jerking wildly on the ground, gasping as her eyes were rolled partly upward.

Emerson frantically patted for his phone when he realized Grey wasn't responding. He yanked out his phone and called for 911, looking between the screen and Grey, waiting to see when the connection went through.

Once Emerson saw that his call went through, he held the phone up to his ear, though it didn't matter much really.

"Halp, Wasson Abenue!" He slurred.

Emerson, not able to hear the operator repeated the address for safe measure.

"Wasson Abenue, deaf, can't hear." Emerson added, reaching up to tug anxiously at his hair as he watched Grey, unsure what to do for her.

The operator noted that Emerson said he was deaf, but still remained on the line as he sent out a unit to his location.

Emerson abandoned his phone beside him before turning his attention to Grey.

"G-Grey, p'ease okay." He gave a watery plea as he watched helplessly, just hoping Grey could hold out long enough for the ambulance to show up and help her where he couldn't.

By now Grey's jerking had mostly subsided, she was still gasping; her eyes staring off at nothing. People were gathering now and gawking at the scene, just in time for the ambulance to arrive. The EMT's rushing to her side, one got an oxygen mask to Grey while the other turned to Emerson.

"Can you tell me what happened?" He asked.

Emerson looked helplessly at the EMT, still in such a shock he almost was unable to read his lips.

"D-Deaf." He pointed to his ear, hoping the man caught on.

The EMT nodded patiently as he retrieved his notepad and pen from his pocket. His partner unloaded the gurney from the ambulance, carefully transporting Grey from her place on the ground.

He wrote down on the notepad before handing it to the boy,

Does this person have a history of seizures? If yes, how long was she seizing for?

Emerson took the pen in his hand, which was shaking terribly from all of the anxiety and adrenaline.

I don't know. I don't think so. Just a few minutes. He paused for a moment before writing out a question of his own. Is she going to be alright?

The other EMT climbed into the ambulance, Grey was strapped into her gurney; eyes still staring off into nothing as the other EMT began strapping on protective restraints.
